Some observations from last night's game: Ryan McDonagh is playing the best hockey of his career right now. Del Zotto had less than 14 minutes of ice time. He is finally being held accountable for his numerous gaffes per game. Talbot should start at least 20 games this year, based on his overall efectiveness and the need to keep Lundqvist fresh.
McD on the PP is the smart choice. So obvious now that Torts was Schottenheimer'ing it up putting Girardi there instead
Really think delzotto needs to regroup in Hartford for a couple of weeks, bring up Conor Allen, Mcd is our best defensemen
the biscuit burying beast from Sweden is starting to show up again. hopefully he does not tail off into any extended droughts as he has in the past. softy nash better get back, you cannot score too many goals in this league. greenday missed the game again, and they won. hmmmmmmmm.....................
The crazy thing is that I still watch games as if Torts is coaching. Zuch would have been benched last night and Richards has made some terrible passes in the defensive zone too. With that said, you can see the developement of certain guys that were stymied under the Torts regime. Watching MAC develop into a offensive force has been great. You are going to have 5 or 6 guys have personal record years this year...but is it enough? Again...loved a lot about Torts but anyone that does not see a difference in the power play and how this team enters the the offensive zone isnt being honest. This team has talent...no doubt about it.

Frankly i figured after thanksiving would give them ample time to stop dicking around and start playing some hockey. What happens if i start watching again? You dont want to know. Ill keep you posted. Right now im reliant on phone updates and the post game shows.
nah, I watch every game so that doesn't apply. However, if I call out a player, he seems to perform better so ill just keep saying everyone sucks. Except my boy MDZ of course
