I was happy with what I saw from Milliner this game, like most others.
I have to wonder though, if Toon (I think it was him?) makes that grab when he had Milliner beat deep would everyone still be hating on him?
Regardless it's nice to see some flash in him, and hopefully this gives him confidence and something to build on.

Honestly that's not true at all. I hate to call out individual posters but 9 games into a rookie year, most of which he has played does not indicate remotely that "he is always bothered by the slightest ailment" especially since you know nothing about what he has been doing in the training rooms or what has bothered him. Not to mention rookie CB's are notoriously unready for the NFL.... This post made you kind of look like an idiot. It seems like you are really only comparing Milliner to Revis, and if you expect him to stack up to possibly the best CB in history in his first few games you really are an idiot.

Dee had a really good game against the Saints today... covered his man well and even caught up with a receiver who was wide open with 10 yard head start after the guy who was covering fell down

That was a frustrating play, because Milliner had good coverage on Toon most of the way but hesitated for a second, I guess he just lost the ball in the air, and Toon got separation.

He does look pretty good when he can sit in zone coverage and break on the ball. With his skill set right now, he would probably excel in a cover 2 defense.

sums why it was smart to get rid of Revis. Fuck this guy. Let him happily make his franchise QB money as his team struggles to dig out of the NFL cellar.

If it's all about the money that's what you wind up with.

    Unbelievable.

Too bad for him, he won't be making that next year. If there's a coaching and GM change, I just can't see how they keep that contract.

I'm so glad that we got rid of this guy.

This thread was about Milner... Let's not let Revis talk hijack it...

I missed the game yesterday can anyone tell me how Milner looked. According to Cromatie (I think) in an article I read in the Daily News,(I am paraphrasing here) he said it was the best he (Milner) has looked all season.

How did he look to Gang Green nation?

He got beat a few times but you can see why he went so high. He has closing speed and length. He has the tools to be a very good CB, maybe great.

I'm much more worried about Cromartie.

Deff flashed some potential.. Looks like he is starting to understand the game a little more.. Those games with him on the bench helped.. We won't start seeing him play REALLY well until next year I think. Potential to be a top 10 corner though if he gets it.

I liked what I saw from Milliner yesterday. That was easily his best game. I hope he can build on that performance going forward.

Not a great game for Milliner, but definitely an improvement. Let's hope he keeps it up. I was encouraged because he was a cause for concern before yesterday. He still has a ways to go to live up to his draft status, but it was an improvement.

At the time, I thought he wasn't drafted to replace Revis (impossible to expect that) he was drafted to replace Cromartie.....

Great game for Milliner. He had some nice tackles and broke up a few pass plays. Glad to see young kid rebound after getting kicked around the last few weeks; and especially well met test against DREW BREES.

bad post "bb", but i see some improvement
