Because people who hate him so much are always the ones to bring him back up. Game threads and in the main forums.

I love how people continue to argue the issue with QBs, when in reality the blame should be pointed squarely at the FO for not putting reliable weapons (and up until this point a component OC) around Sanchez and Geno.

Geno is doing the best he can do with the limited options on the field.

Exactly, it would have been better for a "competition" to have occurred next year.

We are 4-4, but needed to gift Penalties to be there.

I don't think we would have needed that help, or lost to NE wk2, or Pitt....

Hopefully next year they'll focus on the Skill position players, butt hats always subject to availability.

A Sanchez-Geno thread was merged into this one.

    Unfortunately.

I get a kick out of the Sanchez haters, myself included, but get the fuck out of here, Geno Smith, has played 2 good games, keep that in perspective , other than that he's been horrible, inconsistent an turnover prone, but you'll. Excuse that as rookie mistakes, or not enough weapons? Same shit Sanchez had, but with 2 of the biggest moron OC, an also keep in mind Sanchez would be our starter, if not for getting hurt, so lets no be delusional, an pretend Geno is all that, cause at this point, he's the spitting image of Quincy Carter.

Quincy Carter stoned on Coke would have started ahead of Sanchez.

What's crazy is that not one of the "Sanchez woulda started" sheep has condemned Rex for sticking their boy into a meaningless game behind a 3rd string line and effectively ending whatever chance Sanchez had to redeem his career as a Jet.

You can't have it both ways.

Rex made a horrendously stupid blunder.

I would hope that even the Sanchez haters and ardent Geno Smith supporters feel the same way.

I mean what if Geno was less prepared to start and we were 1-7 right now?

Wouldn't you at least want to have Sanchez, his four years of experience, and his $9 mil of non-refundable salary waiting in the bullpen?

    Of course.

I wanted Sanchez to convincingly prove that in a decent system he could play up to his salary.

Having him sit on the bench would have been great.
