Well...I could have called getting beaten by the Bengals. I would have NEVER suspected that we would have gotten embarrassed. I stopped watching at half time...after a bad week why would I just shit on my weekend? Ce la vie...

Mail this one in...after next week we will be 4-5 going into our bye. The only shittier thing about next weekend is it is going to happen in our own house.

Saints are beatable, Jets just have to execute, it essentially comes down to that

I think they'll play a much better game. Probably not enough to win, but that's what this team is, they're inconsistent and it should be expected.

Pressuring Drew Brees would be a start. Not getting down 20 plus points would be another good step.

Overall, I'm terrified of Graham on this defense. We have to get big plays on this defense and if anyone knows Rob Ryan's defensive strategy, it's probably Rex. The Saints pass rush can get past our OL.

So as always, don't get down big, down turn it over, ST plays solid, defense holds them to FGs, we win.

We'll play a lot better but still lose by 13-17 points. Saints are a far better team than us. It's not close.

oh is it an odd week? I guess its time to win again.

hopefully that pattern doesn't skip over the bye, we win and lose starting with buffalo and thats a 9-7 record!

this team is so inconsistent, our best bet is a second half resurgence, one where they take a good 4 or 5 wins, very doable.

beating NO is gravy, I'm more concerned with beating the likes of the bills and blowholes ass than i am beating them.

    Seriously?

We should also "take it down by down" and "play within ourselves".

Get outta here with that shit.

Today was a combination of running into arguably the most talented team in the NFL, who's also riding high after a big win, playing by far our worst football of the season, and catching absolutely no breaks.

We should be able to move the ball against this Saints D. I'll like our chances a lot more if Santonio comes back.

"one game at a time....." ;-)

    Spot on!!

Jimmy Graham & their WR's put their pants on one leg at a time....just like our secondary.

Glad to see a thread for those of us burning the tape of today's fiasco and moving on to next Sunday at home vs the Saints....

It will be fun to begin the discussion Wednesday (72 hour rule) after sane Jet fans allow the "Fire Everybody! Tank for Teddy! Burn down Florham Park! The world is ending!!" class of Joe Beningno style Jet "fans" scream, whine and run rampant until midweek.

I think the Jets bounce back and win this week.

    Based on what?

At least give a reasoned analysis.

The Jets have a chance next week. It begins with figuring out how to shut down the most prolific QB of the last 7 years the week after getting burned big time by the QB on the hottest streak at the moment.

Dalton looks really good lately but Drew Brees is really good all-time, even with the stat bump of the last few seasons.

Either our d-line destroys their o-line or we give up 35+ points. There are no answers in coverage against a team with as many weapons as the Saints. Forget everything else, I don't even think Cro can cover Colston. I'm not even getting into Sproles, Graham, etc.

We will win. Geno shows up every other week, and we usually play well against Rob Ryan defenses.

If they can't get pressure from the front 4 they are done.

Physical/aggressive defense from NO will shut down the jets offense -- this game will be ugly.
