big blown call in the first inning Kozma didn't catch a flip from Carpenter, and DeMuth ruled it a drop on the exchange ball was never in his glove but the umpires gathered together and reversed the call
red sox blowing out the cardinals Beltran got injured hitting the low RF wall in Fenway, and is now out of the game. This was his first World Series game, too.
After considerable pondering as to which of these two despicable teams to root far I have decided to choose the Red Sox....even though they play in the same area as the stinking cheating football douches The main reason Can't root any way for disgusting malingering greedy goof off Beltran Sent from my BNTV400 using Tapatalk
It will be tough to stomach another Red Sox title, but you can feel it. The stench up unkempt armpit is in the air.
Ha, that's what my brother said...... well if Beltran's now out, we can root for the Cards again :shit:
What's with the shit in the glove Lester was wiping on he ball? I'm being told it's sunscreen and completely legal. If it was completely legal why don't they provide such a substance on the mound for all pitchers to use?
Must be a Red Sox thing. This came up in May with Buchholz. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/it-s-a...rs--latest-way-to-gain-an-edge-173953962.html
St Louis would have lost the game anyway but Boston tipped their hand. Now with people looking for it, it will be difficult to pull off. It will be interesting to see how this series plays out. Seems like a foreign substance in the glove should be considered a competitive disadvantage and illegal.
It was rosin, witch is completely legal. They even put a bag of it on the back of the mound for pitchers to use. Lester said that's what it was and everyone involved on both teams and the league are in agreement with that, so this is really a non-story.
I was watching it on BT Sport, whatever that is. Gary Thorne completely blew the call. When there was the missed throw to third, he said "the run is going to score!" when it was obvious Craig was going to be out. Then he said Craig was safe at the plate, when he wasn't. It took him a while to realize they were calling interference on Middlebrooks. Then when he did realize, he claimed Middlebrooks was holding Craig down which is why it was called, and that was definitely not the case. Wacky ending, Craig probably lost for the series as a result of that play.
I think he would have scored if he didn't trip over Middlebrooks. But Middlebrooks didn't really do anything but lie there. I don't give a fuck though, fuck Boston. Visibly asshurt.
That was a blown call but who cares. Red Sucks are fucked. That's all matter at this point. Fuck Boston and their shitty teams and fans.
Bu the rule book that is the right call and the umps had no wiggle room not to call it. Nothing middlebrooks could do to get outta the way but kickin up the legs definitely didn't help his case. Joyce made the call before the home plate play too. By the book the umps had to call it. Imagine the reaction if arod was the 3rd baseman there. Oh boy. The sox manager might get off easy, game the next night and everyone focusing on the call will cover up some peculiar decisions or non decisions he made
