You sound like a hater. How can you say Kaep has a better arm and is a better runner?

This is Geno we're talking about here.

    This.

He's extremely accurate and can run when necessary, very very athletic.

I can't believe folks are comparing him to Brady, Wilson, McNabb, Kaep- players he has NO similarity to.

Might as well compare him to Big Ben and Brees while you're at it.

    What a joke.

I don't think there is a mirror image for Geno. Quincy Carter if he had stronger practice habits and liked cocaine less?

The other thread that talked about Steve Young seeing some of himself in Geno makes me hopeful.

Not sure if serious? How am I hating? Geno is a better pure passer IMO even this early in his career. Geno has a big arm and very good speed but Kaep has a rocket arm with really good speed. Not hating, just stating what I see.

Why not Chad Pennington with a stronger arm? Or a more accurate Brett Favre? Or a taller Drew Brees?

Holy shit there are going to be a lot of extremely disappointed folk if Smith busts out.

He has a great arm. I liken his motion to Vick. I always believed Vick has one of the strongest arms and most fluid throwing mechanics I have ever seen.

In terms of anything else I can make no comparisons because he has the awareness of a rookie and the read ability of a rookie.

I do enjoy watching him play though.

I was joking. You actually said something that was so spot on, so accurate, but because you were downgrading Geno you're no doubt a hater.

You realize there are folks on this board that think Luck is a scrub? That Geno is already better than Luck, Wilson, RG3 and...get this...Brady too?

I can't see why anybody would compare him to any run first QB like Kaepernick or McNabb (EJ manuel is a better comparison). geno's first instinct is PASS, he can run fairly well but unlike some of the younger qb's out right now he doesn't rely on his legs as a first reaction.

hes also a bit of gunslinger, weirdly so for a rookie, he'll go deep without fear and doesn't check down all that much.

he's got a playing style closer to Aaron Rodgers than most anybody I'd say, with the caveat of course being that he's nowhere near as good. (turnovers...)

Didnt mean to be condescending but they are completely different QBs.

Like comparing him to Big Ben or Bree's or Pennington or Joe Kapp or Randal Cunningham or Doug Flutie or Ken Stabler.

Btw, I didn't know you were sensitive to condescension, I thought you didn't want to hear about rain, sleet, fog or snow.

They are different, but there are definitely similarities and comparisons.

I'd say Kaep is the better runner, but Geno is far and away the better passer.

I say Steve Young is who he most reminds me of. Just glad Mark got hurt so we can see Geno play.

So you admit they are not similar.

There are similarities and comparison among every QB- Payton Manning to Doug Flutie. They all take snaps from center, throw and run.

Geno and Kaep are completely different players.

I hope you don't take that as condensation.
