So do we want the Dolphins to win this weekend or the Patriots?

Assuming we win our game in Cincy, if the Dolphins win, we are then tied for 1st in the division, but if the Patriots win, we are still one game behind.

Do we want to go for the division at this point, or the wildcard?? If we want the division the Pats need to lose, and if we want the wild card, the Dolphins need to lose.

Ideally they will tie and the Jets will win.

you want the division no matter what (Home game). Ideally a tie, but a Dolfags win would do the trick as well.

Well the Pats/Dolphins game is at 1, so if the Dolphins win, hopefully the Jets hear the news and go out and play like fucking maniacs.

We played the Pats twice already, that win Sunday was big. We still have to play Miami twice, including last game of the year. Oh boy, could that one be absolutely huge. So Miami

u folks aren't gonna suck me into this crazy talk. not yet.

but it would be quite a feat if the jets are even challenging for a spot come weeks 15-17. quite a feat and it would really stick it to most of the national and local media.

i recall g. smith when he was drafted blurted out "were going to the playoffs"....at the time i rolled my eyes and thought u got to be kidding me. but if it actually comes to fruition, he has a seat right next to any prophet of choice one may have.

I think that last game is going to have some serious playoff implications and will be flexed to the Sunday Night Game on NBC.

glad we are done with the Cheats until they have to come to OUR HOUSE again in the postseason.

It is quite refreshing that their trolls, especially arrogant little deadend job IT twerps from Chelmsford won't be around annoying people for the rest of the regular season

you don't ever throw away relevant football. Its all about being relevant. Why the hell would you want them to implode. Get a higher draft pick- How bout we make the playoffs - pick in our spot around the middle of the 1st and let the whole thing play out.
Have we not done better with middle round picks
At top- keyshawn. Gholston, Sanchez, Lam Jones, Shade Tree etc...

middle 1st - Ellis , Abraham, Mangold, Revis, Wilkerson(bottom), Richardson, etc.....

don't ever wish Relevant football away!!! There are too many injuries and bounces of balls to wish it away. Look at Atlanta- there window appears to have slammed shut so quickly.

Man you touched a nerve- implode for rest of season. That thinking is so "Jet Fan" I guess. Listen if I can be sitting first week of January - 8pm wild card game saturday night playing what looks like it could be strong chance NE, CINCY, KC I am not wishing that away. Playoff games are awesome. You have multiple media outlets- outline, TV, Radio etc.. for the entire week you share the stage with only 7 other teams, 4 other teams etc... Don't wish this away.

If the Miami game turns into a win and get in. Not only for one of the teams but for both. There is your other "stand alone" playoff game. Want to IMPLODE? please take that back. So we can do what pick 6th??

I Usually wait till the last 6 games before I chart who needs to win or loose , so we get in. Id have to say win two in row first and then we can start talking playoffs.

considering are 3 losses are all in conference at this point we should be thinking division.5-1 is doable and 4-2 is very realistic as a division record. that may be enough to get us a division title.

Like I said, before they went stoopid.

Week 2 was the game that decided the division.

And maybe all the people that were on the less than 6 wins/rebuilding mode could step up and admit they were FOS.

i said 11 wins. We blew week 2, and split the other 2 losses.

    But hey...

If the Jets can win one of the next two, they will make the playoffs.
