Good help for Cumberland, but no more than help for the remains of this season I reckon. No other links to any other players yet
Davis had his chance to come here on a 1 year deal and did not do it. Should have come to us or the Bills honestly. Now with Reed' emergence, he has fizzled out of Kyle Shanahan's favor. Add tons of off the field trouble and on the field trouble(Injuries galore) and its just not worth it unless he comes extremely cheap.
We can't trade comp picks and I wouldn't even waste a 7th on him. If they would take a player instead then fine.
Not sure if we should lead the league with guys w/baggage in the first place. Does a new, promising rookie really need to be around guys that can't follow league rules? Can you imagine a locker room with Holmes, Gordon, Davis and Goodson? Might as well set up a mobile urinalysis machine at the front door. No, no, a thousand times no....
But, but, but this is never an issue with the team I built in Madden. Or in my Fantasy League lineup........so it has to be OK in real life
Why give away picks when we are fine at TE? Cumberland has emerged as a solid guy who just needs more experience and Winslow will be off his suspension after the Cincy game. No need to waste picks at a position that we do not need.
i would NOT try to acquire davis. no need to with decent play of cumberland and the promise of nelson. think i would instead make a reasonable effort for gordon
Nothing in the article even remotely intimates that the Jets are targeting him; this is just the reporter's opinion on where he might be a good fit. So I won't discuss the idea that the jets are interested because there is nothing to say they are. What I will comment on is the reporter as an imbecile for claiming he would be a fit for the Jets.
