Reggie White was that guy for me, I thought we were gonna get him to ....until "God told him to go to Green Bay" Bo Jackson would be my other guy, he was simply amazing.
Does it just apply to players? How bout coaches? I wished we would have pick Bill Walsh. It would have changed our history forever.
Marino. Cocaine be damned, he spun the ball like no other QB and made our archrivals relevant. Imagine what our Jets could have done.
Someone said Deion Sanders could do it all??? Ever seen him try to make a tackle?? I'll go with Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Darrell Green and yes Doug Flutie (loved watching him play)
Still remember Jets bouncing between George Seifert & Bruce Coslet. I was hoping Bill Seifert would bring some of that Bill Walsh to us. Unfortunately, he stayed in SF.
I'd call it a draw between Bo Jackson and Barry Sanders. Both were immensely fun to watch run. To see either of these players in green and white would have probably given me a seizure.
Always had a ton of respect for Brian Urlacher. And up until 2010, I probably would've said LaDanian Tomlinson. He played for the Jets but let's be honest, it was too late in his career to have said we "really" saw him play for green and white. Always liked them both.
