i love how so many people are going off like the only bad things to happen at a stadium happen during jets games. hell i got punched in the face right in front of a security guard in foxboro in the '10 playoff win... didnt some phillys fans kill some guy once also?
Yes they should stop serving booze at games. You drink the booze ya loose. I know that from experiance. I drank way to much before a jets pats game in foxboro. I was in a santa suit my buddy in an elf suit. Well everyone in thier brother bought me a beer in side. Out side all i did was drink. On they way down to the game i drank. I got put in the tank untill i sobered up. But some people like me cant stop drinking when they start. Im so glad i gave it up. I remeber watching the game remeber calling texting people abiut the game. So yeah stop serving booze at games
Any incident like this is wrong and shouldn't happen, but to ban drink because a very small minority can't control themselves isn't fair either. Better stewarding is what is needed. I go to Football/soccer games here and this kind of incident inside stadia is thankfully a thing of the past. I look at the security at US ball games and unless they are plain clothes, I think is woefully short of where it should be and is far too reliant on 'good behaviour' of the fans. Some people get run over crossing the road, should we ban cars as well? :wink:
There's a similar video from last year's Bills game. A guy in a Jets jersey clocked an annoying, loudmouth Bills chick, and she went down like a sack of potatoes.
It's not a very small minority, it's small in comparison to 80,000 people but there are hundreds if not thousands driving drunk after the game. Fan behavior has gotten better thanks to being a better franchise and pricing out some of the fans responsible for this nonsense but an incident like yesterday should never happen. Why can't people got 3 hours w/o alcohol? I find that disturbing.
Some people can. Some people cant. Some people can have one then be done. Some wont stop till they need to take a nap. Them ones should hit up an AA meeting.
Some woman think they can get away with throwing punches just because they're woman, but the truth is, if you're coming at me like a dude i'm treating you like one.
You don't hit a girl that's not right but in the same sentence if you saw the video thats like 40 seconds long you see he is fighting someone who may be a male then they pull him back and one girl is swinging on him and he backs away and the girl in red comes charging and is landing some pumches in his face then another guy starts throwing punches at him. Bottomline is if you don't want to get hit as a woman don't square up against a grown man challenging him to a fight.
This dude was getting smashed in the face by this bitch. He did what he had to do to get her to stop. I see nothing wrong with that. He didn't even hit her full force you can tell by the way he threw the punch. If a girl swings on a man she deserves to get punched like a man.
I'll never understand why people wear opposing team apparel to games. it's asking for trouble, i've seen it a million times. Dress neutral and keep your applause to a minimal. Doesn't matter if it's right or wrong, you go to a game with other teams jersey, expect to have liquids and slurs dumped on you and possibly be assaulted. It is what it is.
