53.5 Rating In the last 3-4 years he got shot down 3 times. Twice to Jets once to Saints(Rex's brother Rob) Nice job Rex I blamed Rex being Bellichick's bitch and he made me eat my words. I am the biggest douchebag today. Apologies and respect.
good job owning up. My big thing with Rex is that this team never gives up on him and plays hard. Lot to be said about that. Cant understand why people want to run him outta here. And start with a new coaching staff when this team is clearly building something. With the draft picks we have and cap space to give Geno some weapons this team has a decdnt future with some stability..... Whether anyone wants to admin it or not, he is the most successful Jets head coach not named Weeb. You don't fire coaches like that.
He had that 50 game streak of throwing 1 TD pass, then has thrown 0 against CIN, 1 against NO with 5 seconds left, and 0 against NYJ. The Jets did another great job of slowing Brady and the passing attack down. They were caught flat footed at times, but they held the Pats to 20 points, 7 coming off a 30 yard field, and scored 7 themselves. EDIT: Whatever Rex and the coaches said/did definitely got the Jets D going. They were flying all over the field to start the second half
dont care about the numbers, as long as i see that whiney bitchy ass face, i'm good, i'll enjoy work tomorrow...
I loved seeing Tom dance around in those uggs all day today, especially in the middle of the 2H. We need to start pouncing on those fumbles though! He had 2 that could have definitely been recovered by us.
Just once do I wanna hear the half time speech Rex gave. Pats score 6 points in the 2nd half / ot. Jets score 17 in the 3rd granted 7 came from a pick 6 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Game 1 Brady wasn't any better. If Milliner doesn't line up in the wrong side of the field and hands Brady and Dobson the easiest TD ever in the first game, those numbers are even worse. C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT SACK QBR RTG T. Brady 19/39 185 4.7 1 0 1-7 24.2 71.0
Players do seem to enjoy playing for Rex. This is really important. I also would love to hear one of his motivational speeches.
Can the Jets bottle that 3rd quarter defense and play that all 4 quarters? That was an epic showing of defense in the third.
Tom Brady on the year: 56.9%, 6.19 Y/A, 8 TD, 4 INT, 48.5 QBR, 79.5 passer rating. I don't care who his receivers are. That's not Tom Brady and the Pats are lucky they are 5-2. Should be 3-4, honestly.
Brady keeps getting a hall pass for his receivers. I think that pass has got to expire at some point.
Your right, especially after last week when he made Thompkins "famous"...tell me did Thompkins even play? 22 completions, 8 to Gronk...I think our corners played excellent all game and props to Allen who I was shocked to see covering Gronk about 75% of the game. I didn't realize he was that good in man defense.
Bet you he was mic'd up, hope we get to hear it. In key moments I was expecting the POW! pass but it never came. Maybe our secondary when it wants to play, can.
Icing on the cake for that game. Not only a win, but a win that has Brady look below average. Geno was the top QB this game and it felt gooooooooood.
