Geez....I said this before and I didn't listen to myself...I just can't make a prediction this year. The Jets are about as unpredictable as a snake bite. Can they beat Cincinnati? Yup! Will they? Who knows. The one thing I DO know is the Jets typically shit the bed the next game after coming off an emotional game against the Patriots. Let's see if they GROW.... Thoughts! Congrats on the win against N.E. That was the right call and it was a deserved win!!!
Coming off games against Matt Ryan, Big Ben, and Tom Brady, I'm not too intimidated by Andy Dalton. That being said, he has great weapons and their D is stacked. I expect it to be a good game. Any chance Santonio plays?
The Jets will have a really difficult time with the Bengals pass rush, Geno gets frazzled when under pressure so it could be a problem for him. Cincy has a legit front and is top 10 in sacks and pass defense. It will be a challenge for Geno for sure. Because of that fact, and the fact that the Jets have basically deflated and Geno regressed after any big win, I am expecting a disappointing game next week.
Leon Hall tears Achilles, out for season Posted by Darin Gantt on October 20, 2013, 9:02 PM EDT Leon Hall AP The Bengals got a win today, but it came with a terrible cost. A league source confirms to PFT that Bengals cornerback Leon Hall suffered a torn Achilles and will be lost for the season. Hall went down in the first quarter while covering Calvin Johnson, and did not return. He also suffered the same injury to the other leg in 2011. That throws a major kink in the Bengals’ defensive plans, as he was their top cover player, and had the ability to cover in the slot or outside.
We're ranked 2nd in sacks. If we can rattle Dalton, we have a chance. He had a big week but he's also had some struggles
It's gonna be a difficult game to win. They have a lot of talent on O and their D is better than any D we've faced other than PIT. Tapering my expectations, but this team surprises me all the time.
If we go 1-1 in next two games, I'd sign up for that in a heartbeat. We looked pretty good vs ATL on the road, and pretty awful vs TEN on road. CIN is better than both of those teams. I don't expect a win, but I hope they play like they did vs ATL; let the chips fall where they may.
I just dont even know where to start with this post so I'm just gonna give ya one of these, *facepalm*
Dalton make mistakes, they don't run well, and they have been in dog fights each week. Prevent Green from having huge plays and same formula as today. Limit mistakes, get after the QB, run the ball, and effective passing. Geno finally scrambling a bit today was a big deal...he need to do a better job avoiding pressure. Can't get sacked by a guy rolling.
The Bengals are one of those teams, we just seem to have their number. I know that doesn't carry over from year to year, but whenever we play them I'm always confident we can win. I'll never forget destroying them in week 17 in '09 when they 'rested' their starters. Still owned them in the wild card game the following week.
The Bungles are beatable. Just worried about Cro against AJ. Dalton's good but doesn't scare me. Their defense is ok but not better than the likes of TB, Pitt, or Tenn.
I think Cro is starting to get back to his normal self after this New England game. We really need him to shut down green. If he does, we have a huge chance of being 5-3 going into New Orleans
