David Nelson and Josh Cribbs are big time mid season pick ups.

Cribbs had a solid game; feels good to have someone back for kicks and punts who knows what they're doing! He had one nice 20 yard return... hopefully this marks the beginning of a special teams turnaround for this squad.

    Way to go Idzick

I want to give my whole hearted congrats to our GM for his free agency moves SO FAR. His strategy is allowing the Jets to remain competitive during this tough, tough year while upgrading a couple of positions without braking the bank.

a++ + for Ivory, Nelson, Cribbs, and yes, non withstanding the set back Goodson and Winslow. WAY TO GO JOHN.

Next year after the draft and perhaps one or two free agency moves this team could be right down SUPER good barring injuries

Yeah, Idzik's done a little better at scrap heap searching than Tanny did last year with the Clyde Gates of the world.

If Gates didn't get hurt we wouldn't have had Cribbs. That was a big time pick up. And Nelson made some big catches and he's only going to get better.

This is what great teams do. Not saying we are there already but definitely heading in the right direction with Idzik running the show

Definitely huge pickups. Add that to the draft of Richardson, Geno, Winters and Bohanan with the shit show cap situation Tanny left us and you have to say Idzik has done well. Lots of cap space next year, few extra picks (including compensatory picks) and this team has a future.

Gates kinda looks like a poor mans Cribbs doesn't he? They both have the hair.

Gates looks like a broke, poor, impoverished, destitute cousin of Josh Cribbs, barbers nephew. Thats about as close as they are. Gates is a heaping, steaming hot pile of fecal matter.

David Nelson, cause he can catch the ball, Jesus that's extraordinary for this team, an Cribbs definitely electrified the return game!

Thought Cribbs was real solid on punt returns. Wish he got to return a kick today. Was nice to see a returner get more than 5 yds....

We really need another punter though, Quigly just doesn't have the leg strength for the NFL.

nelson played really well today, and we havent even seen cribbs yet. also this off-season we're gonna get some fire power from that revis money, will we get a true #1 running back or wide receiver? or strengthen the line? or help the secondary? one thing is for sure, our qb is geno smith for the next few years.... give him a legit deep threat (like an aj green) or even a healthy holmes and we are in business

Also MM does a better job of making lemonade than any other OC we've had in years.

Which is why I pray we don't change over the coaching staff. more than anything (unless this team has a complete meltdown) we need continuity.

Have you not figured out that we have our running backs? We have a great duo with Powell and Ivory. Do you not watch any of the games?

Seems to me that he does watch the game and he wants better than that combo. What is your problem with calling people out about watching games? A great duo?

They are doing a nice job...he might want better. Its his opinion.
