'Bama 49; Texas A&M 42 Watching Johnny Manziel's last TD drive against Alabama, whether or not you think this 20-year-old sophomore translates as being NFL-ready, this observation clearly comes to mind: Manziel's ability to dance admidst the top-ranked 'Bama defensive line looking to kill him.....standing still....dancing and escaping like he's Peter Pan is/was Gretsky/Magic Johnson-esque special today, him forcing some throws notwithstanding. This kid has a unique skill set. Fun to watch.
I'm watching the UCLA / Nebraska game. I continue to be impressed by Brett Hundley. I was really impressed with him last year, but I absolutely love him this year. I think AJ McCarron has all the qualities you want in a Super Bowl winning QB.
Am I the only one who thinks McCarron is overrated? His O line is pro level, his running backs plow through grand canyon sized holes for like ten yards a carry, everytime he throws his receivers are more open than a whorehouse on new years eve. Look at the va tech game when he had to play an actual real defence and he couldn't do shit.
i have watched a few of bama's games last year and so far this year and its hard to get a solid read on mccarron. not sure which way to go with him. will be interesting to see how it plays out but right now i would lean toward the latter about him being a bit overrated.
agree if this seaspn continues as is i would look for him to come out for the draft next april and easily be a top 5, maybe even top 3.
One could argue that coach Peterson didnt exactly help his BSU team out last night unnecessarily trying for a 2pt conversion early in the game. Its ultimately what caused them to lose by 1 point.
Some moron on the Pac 12 network just said there's no such thing as luck on the football field. Recovering fumbles is all skill according to him. (oregon has recovered all 6 fumbles in the game)
Penn State- Michigan was amazing, 43-40, 4 ot's, Hackenberg orchestrated an 80 yard TD drive in the last 50 seconds, w/o timeouts in 4 plays at the end of regulation
Great game, happy for Coach O'Brian, Hackenberg & Co. Michigan's lefty PK's gotta be kicking himself after losing the game by bricking that 33-yarder.
So far, today has been the best day of College Football this year. Exciting games, upsets, big plays.....it's been a great day and can't wait for FSU VS Clemson. Mike Evans, WR, A&M....4 TDs 280 + yards....player of the week.
Lol, hardly. I will say though, Clemson got manhandled today. Wasn't a great weekend for some of the big QBs, although Teddy, McCarron and especially Mariota looked great. Even Manziel had a big game, notwithstanding to 2 picks. Not so much Mettenberger, Boyd, Murray or Hundley. _
What i feel sorry is for of this great QB class ( if we draft a QB not seeing that happening) we will end up with a Tajh Boyd, for me the worst of the ones you said above aside from Hundley that i never saw play tbh.
He's better than Geno, would love to have both of them duke it out in camp next year and may the better man win. If McCarron is available in round 2 I'd be all over him. Btw I've only seem snippets of Hundley but listening to all the talking head they think he's the real deal. _
this OU vs TT game is the one to watch...... good game among a bunch of blowouts btw, you can put me in the AJ's overrated camp
