perfect. Gronkowski's bitch is playing just in time for Gronkowski's return. Coincidence? I think not
I can't seem to let this one go...errrrr.. The fact that they were playing a winless team is even MORE reason to go for it in that situation!!!!! -7-0 there including a converted 4th down for a TD, after the way Pittsburgh's offense was looking would've kept them second guessing themselves as a team. -Even if they don't get it, (I think they would've) Pittsburgh is at the 1 yard line with an offensive line that was struggling. Instead you kick that lame field goal, like teams have been doing for years and years against Pittsburgh, gives them the confidence of feeling like the team they've always been - one that has a defense teams are afraid of... and the ball out at the 20 with some breathing room.
As shitty as it is that Gronk is cleared to play, will he be used heavily right out of the gate? Realistically. Not in a "Pats/God hates the Jets" type of way.
supposedly he has looked really good in practice for weeks so I would guess we'll get the full Gronk gameplan
Gronk is playing, it's official. The bionic man returns. "We can rebuild him, we have the technology."
Talib returned to practice today also. I honestly think if he plays it will have more of an impact on the game than Gronkowski. Sucks....just when it looked like the Jets might catch a break. Gronk won't be in football shape though, and no way Talib is 100 percent.
The Jets don't need breaks. They need to put together a great game plan and then the players need to execute it. Bottom line.
Sure, lets see if Costlet, Kotie, or Walton want to come back...Why should a coach have to motivate professionals? Coaches today need to have a game plan (can't argue that Rex is a top 3 D coach in the NFL), manage the nuances of the game (something he can improve on) and manage the media and injuries. Give the Rex must go chant a rest pal!
The best case scenario for the Pats is winning by 14 points. The best case scenario for the Jets is winning by 3 points. So best case scenario for the Jets is this will be a close game. And in a close game anything can happen. If Jets are destined to to win by 3 but waste a timeout or make a foolish play then the Pats win. There's more in the favor of the Pats winning. I don't remember the last time Jets had a decisive victory.
Even putting him in only when the Pats are in the Red Zone will be a big deal. Also Talib is in practice today.
Gronk is cleared. Whose can cover him? Demario? Landry? Allen? Any news on Mr. 50 Mil? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Talib only participated in the team run, and he didn't finish. Don't expect for Talib to play until after the bye in a few weeks, him being out there simply meant it wasn't season ending. 0% chance he plays vs Jets IMO. Gronk has also been practicing and tackling for 6 weeks, but practice tackling and game tackling are a lot different. If he even plays, remember, he's only been CLEARED to play, doesn't mean he'll be active, his presence will mostly be felt on redzone snaps, he won't be the 95+% snap player he usually is until after the bye, assuming he survives, again, IMO.
The gronkowski news isn't good. He's torched the Jets and as the Atlanta game proved we can't cover a decent tight end Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk
