They have him locked up for another 5 years after this and can trade him at any time but no team is going to trade much of anything for him with the contract they have.

The contract is not guaranteed but I believe by the 5th day or so of each league year his 16 mil kicks in for that year.

Since none of the money is guaranteed Revis contract has a huge cap charge

Cap charge of $16 mil each year, I thought that was pretty evident with the way his contract is written.

I was responding to a post about the ability to trade him though.

    On the contrary.

$16 million is plenty to not give a sh*t about stuff like this.

Didn't know Revis (d.o.b. July 14th) was a Cancer. That's about all I got out of this thread.

Revis is so happy to be playing for a winless Tampa team I'm sure he doesn't care. Plus the fine will be like $10. If he got the same ticket in NY he'd be out $500 minimum hahaha.

While we're on a Revis rant, I read somewhere yesterday that the Tampa secondary got LIT UP for like 300 yards, 3 TDs, and zero picks by a rookie QB playing his first game. May not be exact but something real close to this.

Nick Foles is not a rookie. Foles was a 3rd round pick out of Arizona in last year's draft and who started games for the Eagles last year when Vick went down with a concussion and who came in for Vick just last week against the Giants throwing 2 4th quarter TDs.

He can't change them. Because secretly he still lusts for us!

They don't use Revis the way he should be used - shadowing the best receiver. They just have him play a side. Then again whoever he was shadowing probably still went off since D-Jax AND the immortal Riley Cooper both had big games.

Tampa secondary on the whole has not been very good. And Foles is a good QB. Very underrated. If you analyze his stats taking into account that he started playing week 7 or something, he was on par with Luck / Wilson/ RG3 stats last year.

That's what I take from this.

Also, who gives a rats ass what he does? And he's not a Jet anymore. Can we move on?

They don't play a lot of many honestly. And the one play Jackson scored on, revis was expecting safety help inside but didn't get it. Things change when you don't play for the mastermind Rex.

    Questions:

-Why is this in the Jets forum?

    -How did you find this?

-When you found it, why did you decide to post it?
