You would have thought would have been a buzz after last week ,absolutely dreadful all round ,then we have Brady banging a nail into the lid ,you get big ups followed by another heartbreak ,never ending tbh ,we had the 2 biggest games for a long time ,and we play like that that sickening ,the td by brady has just about finnished us off ,Same ole ..:shit:
relax ,the season is over next week if we dont beat pats ,tbh who really gives a fuck if we do ? be the same shyte somewhere else along the line ... just dreadful tonight, infact dreadful dont cover it ..
You act is if this Jet team is any better than mediocre. Why are people expecting better results than what we are seeing?
how is the season over at 3-4 if we lose next week? If we can avoid 3-6, which means getting one of the next 3 or you can put it as 2-3 through a brutal stretch- to leave us at 4-5 with 7 games remaining. Anyone on here would have signed up for that. 4-5 with 7 to play we will be right in the wild card hunt.
mediocre is better then most had thought. We watch for Geno to get better- hard to get on him to much when he does not start with many weapons and then he is down- holmes, winslow and his pass catching running back goodson. I want to trade for Blackmon right now- I know high values are put on draft picks but geez he is not worth a 2nd rounder. He looks to be as good as any reciever coming out and you get him now.
This x 1,000 ! The fact that this team has won 3 games at this point in the season is a miracle. Still sucks that they lost to a team that they seemed capable of beating but I can't say I'm all that surprised.
We have no real expectations this season but with that said that loss yesterday was disappointing. As a fan you want your team to win as many games as possible. The offense was flat for most of the day. The defense couldn't get any pressure. It felt like I was watching a Jets game from 2011 or 2012.
50% of the Pats stadium was bone dry during the last 3 minutes. That right there tells you all you need to know about the Pats. Even their own fans rack up Brady's comeback as a one in a million fluke, never to be repeated. Especially not next week.
We needed yet another thread by a fan telling us how shite we are and how sick it is to continually suck. I think we all get it.
Coming out of Atlanta I was thinking to myself, this Atlanta team is overrated, this was a good one circumstances and all but not a great win as everyone was making it out to be. Same with Tampa Bay. The team is playing above expectations but will be at or around .500. You will see some wins where you say to yourself damn how did they do that. And then you will see some loses where you will scratch your head. But, come on be realistic the team lacks talent and they were really 1 offseason away from being real contenders anyways. Anything that they do this season will be gravy to me. But I am not expecting any game to be a win because lets be honest you cannot make chicken soup out of chicken shit. Go into the draft doing BPA offensive weapons heavy, spend some of the cap space on middle tier free agents that can make an impact and develop the young core that is here and the team is not that far away. I just dont want to see it happen with another coach, because coaching changes are big in stunting the growth of QBs and Geno and Morhingweg are a good combo IMO. But they need the weapons.
So tired of the bullshit w/ this franchise. I'm not using the talent as an excuse anymore. Even when this team has a good roster nobody in green can make an explosive play. This team lacks guts & lacks fire. Just let new England win the division every year for the next fricking decade!
Had the team at 4-12 going into season. Modified it to 6-10 -> 8-8 Don't get tricked into believing. Don't get too high or low. This team will always let you down. Watch the game for what it is, a contest.
I posted last week that I was very worried about the Steeler game. This is the precise type of game that separates the consistently good, contending teams from the mediocre teams with potential. A team that has truly arrived follows an exhilarating, unexpected road win on Monday night with a matter of fact win over a winless team. I don't think the season is over, but I thought this game was very telling.
The Jets sure played that way yesterday! FLAT as can be. Geno was not allowed to get into rhythm. The gameplans sucked. The coaching sucked! We are a weak team for sure but at least play with some fire as Jax did yesterday in Denver. We were pathetic.
