More film on Geno and MM's schemes means that defenses will find it easier to confound and confuse the rookie QB. Oh yeah, the WC really should be shelved but hey, can't convince anyone that matters of that so, we see it week in and week out. Sans any credible threat on offense, we have no chance of winning any of the next three games and should wind up 3-6 by week nine. The reality is, the Jets aren't as good as we thought they were because we didn't want to admit that luck played a huge part in 2 wins. We got lucky with the late hit against TB. We caught a break with ATL's coach not kicking the easy FG and then losing by 2pts. Yeah, we should be 1-5 but for once, we've been fortunate. I have a feeling that after today, the luck probably has left the bldg and we're facing the very real prospect of a rookie Qb leading a retooling team.
3-4. Sorry. But unless we get a new secondary and a couple of new wide receivers, chalk this one up to loss column.
Bullshit. You can't honestly say after the way the game today ended that we will just go ahead and beat the Pats. We couldn't beat a shit Steelers team, all banged up on the OL in front of our own crowd, there is ZERO (0%) chance we win this game or are even in this game next week.
Time and time again I'll say luck factors into every teams games. In 2010 Jets could have easily been 6-10 as easily as they were 11-5. Look at the end of those games. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
On any given Sunday.... Yeah the Jets have gotten lucky, but winning does take some luck. I'm not feeling confident about this game (As a Jets fan, who can blame me?), but I still think there's a shot the Jets can win. Hopefully after a full week rather than a short one, this team can rebound from that loss.
We will be without Winslow,Gates,Goodson,Wilson,Holmes,Millner said he will be ready for Sunday if that means anything. But alot of guys got injured today sure its early yet and no news has come back but
if this game holds up with the way this season has gone, the jets will beat NE, get our hopes up again, and then get rocked by Cincy and crush our soul
No way Amandeolas playing, that boy has a concussion. He looked like a deadman. Hope he heals up though.
New England heading to NY on a 2 game lose streak is not good but I guess ill take it. Close this out New Orleans.
I'm already banking on Gronk making his season debut next week. It would be fitting wouldn't it? Offense needs to be aggressive from their very first possession. D also needs to make valiant efforts to turn over the ball. If there is anything going for us, it's the fact that we are at home.
