Big kudos to Marty, Geno, Hill and Folk for putting up 3pts with 40 secs left in the half.
Last year, we would have just taken a knee and head to locker room in that situation.

Looking for Geno to continue protecting the ball, and the D to start getting off the field on 3rd downs. If we do that, we win..

I agree. Everybody talks about Gronkowski and Amendola, but honestly the Wilfork injury is baddd for them.

When you have QB like Brady or the other elites, good weapons are luxury items. I hate him, but he's a hell of a QB and historically he's really never had GREAT weapons, except for Moss. Gronk when healthy. But look at guys like Branch when he left for Seattle or whats-his-name when he went to Tennessee. They fell off in a major way.

But Willfork's essential for their defense. He's almost unblockable 1on1 which opens a ton of holes. He's deceptively quick. Of course he's a huge man, and a great run stuffer, and unlike servicable WRs, a traditional NT isn't easy to come by. I dont even really know who's replacing him.

I wouldn't be surprised if they nosedive without him. At least on that side of the ball.

I kinda love that. The coaching staff already has more faith in Geno than they had in Sanchez 4 years in his career.

Defense is again soft on 3rd down. Say what you will but this defense lets up too many third and longs, way too many late game drives.

They're making the Steelers look like a good team.

That INT by Geno is a game killer, nice drive to respond to the Steelers TD ended with a goal line INT by Geno.

You just knew this was a trap game.

Where the hell was Geno throwing that ball?

3rd and 8, probably give up a 25 yard play right here.

Cromartie is being absolutely abused this game.

That Geno INT on the goal line destroyed this game. How many seasons have the Steelers destroyed for the Jets? Honestly this team owns our football soul. This team will be 3-6 very quickly.

Down by 13. Time to unleash the kid and make him throw, throw, throw. This is no time to hold the offense back, now.

Awful playcalling today and the QB had a mediocre day. 1st time I can really say that in regards to Marty.

16 of 32 for 160 yards with 0 TDs and 2 INT's is a terrible day, not mediocre.

I do agree the play-calling was insanely conservative. I get what they were trying to do int he first 1/4, but they needed to open it up, take some shots downfield. I don't think they attempted a play over 10 yards until the 3rd quarter.

Yeah. Don't throw it way. Just fling it down the middle. Rookies.

I wish we were more aggressive. Geno was a rookie again

no offense at all - we always get killed by the Steelers and always give up big 3rd down plays to them - I expected us to lose this game and we did so not too freaked out by it - poor performance all round - I can see us drafting WR and CB next year.
