Power Ranking Nonsense Just love this comment...... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap20...s-week-6-saints-jets-climb-bills-falcons-fall
If all the jumping around on the power rankings has told us anything it's that 99% of the people who do power rankings just don't have a clue. They're doing whatever they can to sell but outside of the top 5 and the bottom few they just don't know what's going to happen. In the case of the Jets this year they collectively missed on the bottom few also which is very hard to do.
We'd better be ready for Pittsburgh. Short week for us and they've had an extra week to prepare and get healthy. Now we've got to read our press. This game is ripe for a letdown.
By what week do you think we make it into the Top 10? I say if we beat Pitt and then beat New England, we get to number 9...
One week at a time. If we get upset by the Steelers in a look-past game and then Brady beats us because he's Brady we're 3-4. I'm going to start thinking about the playoffs when the Jets get to 8 wins. If they get to 7 before December dawns then I'll start at that point. There are two Jets teams recently that got to 8 wins with 5 (2008) and 3 (2011) to play respectively and could not crack the tourney.
I hear you, but if we beat the Steelers and have a week 7 matchup with the Pats with first place in the division on the line, I think the fans have to start to be thinking playoffs then. This isn't a 13-3-type Pats team. This is a 10-6 version. Unlike other years, there could be more than one path to the playoffs
Jets vs Browns AFC Championship? Lol how awsome would that be for both starving fanbases.I honestly think Rex Ryan is the only one who can stop Peyton Manning
I saw a round up of different power rankings earlier. Most had us around 17-19. I think that's fair right now. Despite PITT being 0-4, I think we prove ourselves a bit if Geno has another good game and we pull out the win at home. Looking forward to it.
