We wouldn't have Milliner, and after the season, we'd be left with the choice to either let Revis walk for nothing or re-sign him and kill our cap. Idzik made the right decision.

As an aside, anyone have the link to the Jets radio highlight calls? Really like listening to Bob and Marty on 98.7, but can't seem to find it.

This was a very positive win. Atlanta has had a down year so far but for the jets to go in and get the win against a decent team is huge confidence booster. 3-2 and this is a win they could really build off of going forward. I hope they follow this up with a solid outing against a Pittsburgh team that's down and struggling. If they can get to 4-2 Sunday that says alot. This was a solid win though. To drive down the field after Atlanta took the less and get the win. Huge win and hopefully is a turning point in genos career for all the right reasons.

Good point....especially when you consider how Mevis, Schwartz, Feinsod and Unca Sean are leading those Bucs to win after win after win on the road to a purchased 16 million dollar superbowl win!!

DROY Sheldon Richardson PLUS the first or second pick of the third round next May....Thank you Mr Idzik

And Geno continues to grow. I cannot say enough about this kid. I have seen posters on here call him abysmal, and even called for him to be benched after that weeks debacle. All this time I have said he needs to play and grow, and we need to forgive him his rookie mistakes. That he came off last week with a performance like last night says a lot about this kid. A lot of rookies would have crawled into their shell, but he didn't. He came out confident and played pretty much lights out. And he wasn't even the star of the game.

Let's hear it for MoWilks coming out party last night! Jesus, but that dude can blow up plays! We have all known it, now the rest of the NFL fans who watched him spend half the night in the ATL backfield know it as well. He can ball with the very best of them. In fact, he might just well BE the very best of them. Our entire front is downright scary, and Mo leads them in ferociousness. He was unblockable on several plays, just running around and over ATLs OL. Even though he is gonna end up costing us a TON of money when his rookie deal is up, he is worth every penny. Richardson played himself a game last night too. I wasn't huge on that pick, but I am sure loving it now.

As for Winters first start, I can at least say he was better than Vlad the Imploder. I watched him specifically on several plays, and watched him get torched on some, while he played pretty well on others. Good enough to secure the starting job for the rest of the year, anyway. Ducasse will not be wearing green and white for long, bad as he is.

Overall, it was a damn fine team win last night, and I am certainly excited about the rest of the season.

Oh, one more thing. We have an OC. I had my doubts about Marty, strong doubts. But they have been alleviated. He calls a good game most of the time.

I'm not a Giants hater either, but I have so many friends who are Giants fans, and all they've done for 5 years is give me shit about not winning the big game, Rex's mouth, Holmes' attitude, Tebow, Sanchez, etc.. It's nice that they've STFU.
