Yeah, Gates blows ass. He tends to be able to get open but then he fucks up.

Your statement makes no sense, your speaking in terms of talent when Hill has more raw talent than Gordon, he has a faster 40 time and hes taller. Yet you want to get Gordon. Even if we did what happens to Holmes and Kerley now. Just for a guy who is 1 mistake from being suspended for a whole season.

Some of you guys need to stop trying to be GM's.

A 2nd round pick for josh gordon is absolutely worth it. Why wouldn't you want to help your future franchise qb develop easier. Look what happened with sanchez, they kept feeding him crap. Holmes is not the same as Stephen Hill is good but not a 1. Gordon has off the field issues....but let's be honest we've seen much worse.

I know about his off the field risks, but Gordon is worth a 2nd round pick. Guy is basically a Julio Jones clone with his measurables and the way he plays.

I don't think Idzik will trade for him anyway, so the people who don't want to trade for him will be happy.

Hard to risk a 2nd-round pick on Josh Gordon. A 3rd-round pick, and I probably pull the trigger, but a 2nd is too risky for a guy who is one toke away from being gone for a year.

As for Hill, he's still only 22. We knew he was a project. He's getting better every week. He was MIA much of the game, true (was he even out there that often?), but when it mattered, he played great.

I would offer the Jags a 3rd rounder for Cecil Shorts.

But Idzik isn't clever or gutsy enough to do that.

I hope NE doesn't think of it and get it done. He would be a stud in their offense: precise route runner, great hands, YAC ability. Plus he's young and relatively baggage-free (injury-wise, character).

9'ers are trying to trade for Gordon..and I agree w/the consensus here.

    -No high draft pick
-Don't give up on Hill (yet)

Swap the Revis pick for Gordon. It will be at the top of the third if things keep panning out this way.

Why is there still talk about Gordon when they say they won't trade him? I doubt it's to drive up the price, I think it would have the opposite effect and make people back off.

Yesterday before the game Mort and Schefter were talking about how the 9ers and Browns were in trade talks regarding Gordon.

I'm a Cecil Shorts fan, but he's a good #2 type guy. Good hands, good dude, but doesn't have the size or breakaway speed.

Plus they love him in JAX, fans would be pissed
