Didn't you hear? He's a me first, selfish primadonna who can't motivate or lead a team. Nolan Nawrocki said so afterall.
That's our boy. We all knew ..well .. most of us knew he could do it. I'm just relieved he finally put it together. It really feels like the game next week could be a loss. It just seems typical to happen to us after a big win.
Damn good game by Geno and especially the game-winning drive. NOW, with that said, I want to see him beat up a weak Steelers team next week.
As some poster predicted The Jets went on the road, a 10 point dog, AND SHOCKED THE WORLD and the media assclowns
Marty/Rex wanted a call to go a certain way in the no huddle, 2 minute drill....Geno cancelled that and called up those passes to Gates/Kerley/Hill.....as he should since the QB has a feel/rhythm of what the defense is giving.
I noticed that last week nyjunc was in the Titans game thread low key gloating about Geno's bad performance. Tonight he was M.I.A
Ray Lewis on Geno: "2 things Geno said that hit me: my fault my team. I have been in the league a long time and have seen very few QBs do that. Take complete ownership of their actions and their team." Awesome
Geno Smith, QB NYJ becomes just the 2nd rookie QB in MNF history to throw 3 TDs with 0 ints. The other? Marino.
Steve Young, Dilfer and Ray Lewis all in awe of Geno. "The Jets are young and hungry and this game was Geno's stake in the ground." What a difference a game makes...
Dilfer just ethered the media by saying this is always who Geno was and the bogus draft talk about him was ridiculous!!!
