I wouldn't be surprise to see him fired in season. I know it was against a good San Fran defence, but that last game was unacceptably atrocious.
Schotty is just terrible. Not as terrible as Sparano, but definitely pretty bad. He's still the worst third down play caller I've ever seen.
Honestly some of the most frustrating moments of 30 years of watching the JETS..... simply because unlike other years of them just sucking, that team had the talent. I know he wanted to stick it to Green Bay (thanks to his narcissistic ego) but you think they could've got him to stick around another year if they offered to can Shotty? hmy:

True haters would say Sanchez should have checked out of that shitty play. Sanchez had a good game going. He was having his way with the Pats when 3 or more receivers lined up....but you need to have at least one of them run beyond the marker. Duh. So far this season I can't recall one whathefuck play call. Yeah...we shoulda run more vs. New England. That game was easily winnable with a few less to's and lots more run plays.

Watching the St Louis game, I was thinking that if anyone could blow it against the crappy Jags, it would be Schotty and the rams. Surprisingly they survived.
