Matty Ice at home makes me nervous, but it appears that the Falcons are as vulnerable as they have been in the past few seasons. I understand everyone thinking that are 'angry' about being 1-3 and that would be a reason for them to step up their game against the Jets, but were they not upset about being 1-1, or 1-2? At the end of the day, they might be just that, a 1-3 football team, possibly 1-4 after tomorrow night.

The Jets can win this game if they do not turn the ball over and can limit the Falcons air attack. Hill and Kerley need to have big games, but I like our chances.

The entire AFC East lost this weekend. We NEED this one to keep it close in the division. 3-2, one game out, would be awesome.

I can't disagree with almost all of what you said but the "corrupt" really takes away from your credibility.

Jackson is a nobody at this point in his career he has done nothing this season. Him being out means nothing. Id rather him be healthy because maybe the Falcons would run more which we defend well. They will shred our secondary. When we continue to turn the ball over and over again our offense does not have anywhere near the talent to keep up.

    it's IF time

IF the Jets can find a way to win their game in Atlanta

then NEXT week, when the Jets thump the Stillez at Met Life and the Cheating Scum get their sorry asses kicked by Brees and the Saints, the division race is right back up for grabs

Turnovers turnovers turnovers. Cut back on INT's, plan the game around Geno's strength and don't allow him to turn the ball over and we win the game. But I feel like Geno will throw multiple INT's and lose another fumble etc etc. I am generally optimistic but Geno's last 2 road games are taking away all my optimism.

Roddy and Julio both questionable. seems like both will play, looks like Julio will be fine but apparently Roddy aggravated is ankle last week so he may be more hobbled than before.

Winslow questionable, what's his deal do you think he'll play?

He never practices. Haven't read anything about him being out so I am assuming hell play.

with all 3 RB available, gotta consider just pounding the ball against them. Don't cover up and hide Geno, but get a few more running plays in there. Goodson will be rusty, will be excited to see his game speed and if he can be a game breaker. Powell is a good RB for us, but I don't think he can break off a 40-50 TD run for us

I think the offenses between Tony Gonzalez and our running game will be more or less a push, but who will connect on the deep ball? Logic says Julio Jones is the biggest weapon in this game, but if the Jets pressure Ryan, he may not have the opportunities to comfortably take those shots. If Geno doesn't kill us with turnovers again, I like our chances.

That describes every game we'll play this year.

I really tried to see this as a close game but just can't. The Jet d-line will simply stomp the piss out of the Falcon's o-line and matt ryan.

if Geno plays like his old self and turns the ball over 3-4 times the game will be close. But if Geno comes into his own and plays TO free football this game will become a blowout.....Jets 40, Falcons 9

I can not come up with a single scenario that has the Falcons defeating the Jets.

I just slapped all my v-cash on a straight up Jet ass whooping. Won't need no stinking spread for this on.

shanep here in south atlanta, Roddy White is hurt more than most know. His high ankle sprain has really slowed him down to no more than a decoy. Last week Bellichec double teamed tony g right out of the game in the 2nd half.. if Rex can find a way to slow down Julio, i'm not seeing a blow-out. You guys STILL lose, just not as bad as your forums are saying.

the Falcons don't have a Gates on their roster. Watch for Toilolo our rookie 6'8 rookie te in the red zone

The Atlanta D does not impress me at all, Roddy White is playing at half speed, and they are missing their LT Baker. all things which can and should be exploited.

However the team does play very well at home, and we've been a turnover machine on the road. It's simple, but that really is the key for us.
Creating a turnover or 2 on D, and not turning it over more than once ourselves.
Have to win the turnover differential, and then we have a good chance to win.

Their whole O line is pretty awful. Our Dogs are going to have a field day. See if we can get more than 8 sacks

Forget this 5th ranked against the run thing. No one is bothering to run against them because their pass D blows. They are more like 15th in YPC. We can run the ball against them, we can pass against them. We've got to avoid the offensive mistakes and get pressure on Ryan to mask the issues in our secondary. If we can do this, it will be tight and I fancy us to sneak it.

Nope he picked up a knee injury against the Titans.
    Thurs - DNP
    Fri - LP
    Sat - DNP

and is listed as questionable. I don't think he'll play and we'll be going with either Reuland or the rookie Sudfeld (+ Cumberland sausage)
