Brutally bad clock management by DAL. Once DEN got that first first down, you had to think ahead. Once Denver had the 3rd and 1, you had to either a) sell out completely for the stop on 3rd down b) carry Moreno into the endzone.
So we saw the obvious problem with Denver right? Their secondary just let Romo walk all over them. If they didn't up 50+ they lose the game. I don't think just Von Miller can fix this. Their going to have to do something different.
yep, dallas terrible execution all-around in the final minutes Denver defense looked terrible today. The secondary had some injuries. Denver's defense was mediocre before today, not terrible.
Romo had so much time when he dropped back to pass. Miller instantly changes that and that will help the secondary as well. They also have Champ coming back. Not only will Miller help on pressuring the QB, just his mere presence will allow for other guys to get favorable 1 on 1 matchups on the D-Line. Him coming back allows for them to do so much more in regards to stunting on the opposite side of the line and it forces O-Coordinators to gameplan around him. A lot of people are underestimating how good this kid is. He had 18.5 sacks last year. He is unbelievable.
http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-t...vor-learn-how-to-stop-talking-about-tony-romo Heh article was written last week, but still very relevant after this game.
Champ Bailey's name is better than he actually plays now. Champ coming back isn't going to make a huge difference. You are right I might be underestimating the impact Von Miller has coming back. We will see, it would be a huge boost for Denver if their defense doesn't do this again. So many blown or missed coverages today
Denver D was getting sliced like cole cuts. Should have dragged Moreno into the endzone. Game's as much on Garret end game management as it is on Romo's int.
