hell yeah. hill coming in changes things big time.

and I don't expect much more than 20 runs in this game, marty just isn't likely to implement a heavy run game, but they'll likely have bigger gains than usual.

The win against the Colts was big last year. They ended up 11-5 and we beat them badly.

No Stephen Jackson , and without him especially against our run D quite frankly they're stuffed.
So Matt Ryan goes to the air (ranked 4th) .... who's covering Jones? Cromartie. Mis-match there already, as we've seen before any WR who can make sharp cuts (which Jones does) can get seperation from Cro.
Harry Douglas is the other WR to watch out for and Walls should be more than capable of covering him.....just turn that freakin head every now and again!

Biggest problem...Tony Gonzalez. But I think if we put SuperMario Davis on him with Allen helping out underneath we have a chance of covering him up.

I like our chances of running the ball against the Falcs, the Pats did ok racking up 117 with what I think is a poor ground game, so I expect us to have success there. Also I think Geno will light it up against a pretty poor secondary (26th).
Powell is also back and I'm betting he has a point to prove.

Before the Pats played them, I didn't like our chances but they exposed a few weaknesses.
Tough road game but I think we take it in a 34 - 24 win.

    Key player: Bilal Powell

Or get lit up, his career specialty against good defenses. He was only able to get 23 against a woefully crappy defense last week on the same home field he'll be at Monday.
My guess is that gets cut roughly in half against the Jet defense. If we can keep the turnovers from killing us AND overcome the corrupt and incompetent amateur insurance salesmen in stripes (with pink.flags for godsake) the Jets can put up 17-21 points and fly north with a big W....

MM has said since he got here that he will attack other teams weaknesses. It's time for him to put up or shut up. Falcons are weak against the run and have a weak secondary. This sounds like we should have a balanced pass/run attack. Let's see what happens.

Not saying we dont have an elite front 7 but our secondary is a weakness right now.

That's big. Agree on TG - historically TE's have killed us; I'm hopeful that Demario's emergence will address this.

As long as Geno is learning and progressing, life's good..

There is NO way the JETS score 34 in this game. If the JETS are going to win they need to hold the Falcons under 20.

Why not? We put up 27 against a much better Bills team , (which isn't saying much).
We put 10 against the Pats and would have put more up had we not committed penalty suicide.
Our team is very capable of putting up points. IF the O line protects Geno and the TEs and WRs are on the same page we will win by a big margin. The falcs really are that bad.

We put up 27 on an awful Bills secondary and now without Holmes and Hill who both had over 100 yards that game we are supposed to put up another TD on top of that 27 points. Are you kidding me.

Atl are 26th against the pass and 5th against the rush. I like our chances.
Hill is listed as probable and so is Ivory. Couple that with Goodson returning, yep chalk up another score.
Our D is good enough to keep Ryan off the field and give us the best chance possible.

Because your shoe will be half way through it due to the penalties?

I hope but I just dont see it. Our best receiver out. I heard Hill was out yesterday but if he plays taht will help. Atlanta's offense is much better than the Bills and the Falcons get Samuel back which will help.

Steven Jackson's departure is going to be a massive loss, dude is a beast. Their rushing attack will be as good as done against us.
They have Jones, Douglas and Gates as primary receivers, I know our secondary sucks but Ryan will have very little time to get the ball out. If our DBs can jam on the line as well, I see Atl as very beatable

LOL. Yeah having Hill helps because our WR core is god awful, but the guy is coming off of a concussion where he got LIT UP. He always looks like he's afraid to get hit, and has dinosaur arms and has trouble catching the ball to begin with, this is going to make him even hotter in the hands. It isn't THAT big of a thing that he's active.

Our offense isn't good, our pass D isn't good and our special teams sucks. The Falcons will get their groove back and whoop our pathetic team in front of the whole country. Especially since all of the AFCE lost so far, and we have a chance to gain ground on Miami and actually be in the hunt to compete, it's a same old jet way that we will absolutely lose. A 45-3 type Foxboro game in 2010..

Sorry, but that's what I feel.

Ivory will be crying and limping off the field 20 minutes in, Goodson will pull something since he hasn't played in an actual game in more than 9 months... So that leaves us with Powell against the 5th ranked run defense in the NFL....

Holmes is out, and we have Hill and Gates at receiver... Can't catch and can't catch. Choose your poison. Kerley better grow 5 inches between now and tomorrow night and have a Randy Moss type game.
