the team quit, they had Curtis painter and signed a 40 yr old off his couch. did you see what they did last year w/ a rookie?

Peyton was a big reason they were elite and the biggest reason they didn't get to and win more SBs.

That is quite an argument, you really showed me.

if anyone wants to intelligently debate this topic I'm here for you but you better bring it unlike some folks who want to hurl insults to mask their lack of football knowledge.

Archie was a very good QB who played on some of the worst teams in history, so he never really had a chance, he was probably just as good as Eli, but no where near Peyton or Mark Sanchez..

Kelly had one real shot- SB XVV vs. NYG and he played well and their O played well. The game was won b/c NYG's O controlled the clock and kept Buf off the field. The other SBs they were severely overmatched and it wasn't his fault.

Moon is one of the most overrated QBs in history. Nothing more than a #s guy

Boomer had a few really good years, not a great QB though.

Rookie? Does "suck for Luck" ring a bell? This wasn't just any ol' rookie but a rookie who was clearly the most coverted pick in years and cited as the most NFL-ready prospect in a decade.

So what else did this loaded Colts team do with this rookie? Well, the Colts also got steamrolled by a Jet team in decline 35-9 behind a pair of running backs (Greene-McKnight) who are no longer on the team who rushed for over 230 yards. Good rookie QB who had a bad day, but certainly not operating behind a 'loaded' roster.

first off, the roster last year wasn't the same as an average Manning team but they did have reggie Wayne who caught the 3rd most amount of balls in his career and 2nd most yardage. Not bad for a guy Peyton Manning magically turned into a great WR.

B/c we crushed Indy that means they didn't have talent? when we lost 45-3 in 2010 I guess that meant we didn't have talent? it must have been all Mark Sanchez leading us to the title game then, right?

From day 1 Peyton had elite talent around him and Indy kept adding throughout his career. he never had worse than top 5 weapons at any point in his career.

Giants had 40 minutes of possesion, but Bills rolled up 400 yards in 20 minutes....for about a 4 year stretch during the mid to late 80's Boomer was unstoppable...

Boomer had a great run w/ those Coslet offenses, he won league MVP in 1988 but he was awful in the SB and only led those talented bengal teams to 2 postseasons. Good QB, had some really good/great years but certainly not a HOF candidate.

I think 2 plays won SB XXV for the Giants, Bruce Smith not being able to strip Hostetler on the safety(if he gets the ball they get a TD instead of 2 pts) and the mark Ingram 3rd and long where he broke 6-7 tackles to get it.

I agree Junc, but for that stretch he was amazing and used to kill the Jets

I thought they could have gotten a little closer for the game winning FG try, they messed up 2 plays at the end and settled for the 47 yarder which was certainly no gimme

Norwood gets way too much blame for that kick. 47 yarder w/ the SB on the line in torn up grass. Incredibly difficult kick.

Tough kick in a normal game w/o all the pressure, that kick just about ruined his life

I remember Jet fans mocking him in their visit to the meadowlands in 1991 and of course he had a 50+ yd FG against us that day in a 3 pt win for the Bills.

Rex Ryan called Peyton Manning the best QB hes ever had to defend. That ends the Manning v Brady debate for me.

Some may say he is just an average fan who focuses on fantasy stats.
