This secondary is not as good as last years and Cro has taken a big step back since then, so i'm saying we need to go out and sign arguably one of the best Safeties in the league that's just sitting home on his couch. Let's keep the obvious jokes aside, I think this defense could really benefit from better safety play.
So you walked away from yesterday thinking we need help with our safeties? P.S There is a reason this man is sitting home with out a contract
Its not only about yesterdays game. If you think the secondary is in good shape you're delusional. And no this isn't a joke.
Uhm did you neglect to actually stat check this? I mean we are top 10 defense against the pass and top 5 defense in total yards allowed. So yeah i think our secondary is doing ok so far. Bottom line is you cant leave your defense on the field for 70% of the game and expect to not give up points. Doesn't matter who is on the field.
Rhodes might have his issues, but we're losing the turnover battle -- 12:2. That's right - with this defense, we've created 2 turnovers. Kerry Rhodes is great being around the ball and with the pressure our front 4 and 7 is capable of - we need someone who can smell the ball - especially if he comes cheap.
I definitely agree with this point. How many years have we been watching this happen? It's got to stop. I also agree with this point. For some reason, we haven't been able to force the turnovers (particularly INTs) that we're accustomed to seeing. It can't all be on the lack of Revis: our secondary is just not as good as it was. Now, there's two philosophies to go with here: (1) have young talent like Bush, Allen, Walls and Miliner learn on the field; or (2) acquire vet talent and let the new guys learn from the bench. (ATM, it looks like Idzik is confident in letting Rex and the gang teach the new talent by playing them on the field.) Either way, the NYJ defense needs to get more turnovers to balance out the weak offense's play. OT: Rhodes would be a rental, not a long-term answer. However, if he's willing to accept that role and teach, he'd be worth looking at.
arguably the best safety in the league? i'd say the fact that he is available puts him at 65 best safety or 33 best f.s. no?
Hey hey hey now. He is turning down contracts due to the fact he is waiting for Muary to call him back about kims baby. Hes 110% sure he is the daddy
