Looking like a 2010 Foxboro game to me. Yeah, the Falcons are a bit overrated, but if we turn the ball over like we did today, we won't beat my college team, let alone ATL.
Its a winnable game, but its going to require Geno Smith to play a very good game. He has struggled both games on the road, its time for him to play a good road game.
I don't think it will necessarily be all that bad. The two games Geno played his worse (NE & Tenn) it as raining, slippery, some wind, especially the NE game. But the Falcons play in a dome. Nice. Dry. No wind or rain. I'm not saying Geno and the Jets are the best dome team in the NFL, but we do have new team speed and let's see how Geno runs the Offense in comfortable dome conditions. Something we haven't seen yet.
Realistically, we will be facing a superior team on the road with a rookie QB who apparently struggles away from home (at least so far). Falcons probably beat our ass. Not really a knock on the Jets, just reality.
The Falcons are living off of reputation, they are not that good. What they accomplished last year does not translate to how they are playing this year.
They are still better than the Jets and should prove it on national TV. Could we please not play national games anymore?
How have the Falcons looked tonight against NE, aside from the score? I've been watching HBO since 9PM lol, bit preoccupied away from the game.
A Falcons fan on another message board said "we have 2 bye weeks coming up" after reading that I want to see the Jets kick their asses so bad now.
It's 30-23 with 3:00 left. "Destroyed them"? What game are you you watching? Does "Destroy" mean something else where you are from?
