I think the play of Geno is giving the defense a bit of a pass..but its more than just that.

You cant say the front 7 has played poorly...christ teams cant run on us at all. We are getting more pressure on the qb then I can remember in a long time.

The secondary is horrible. Why teams even waste their time running the ball is nuts. All you have to do is throw long and you will either get a completion or an easy flag because they never look back at the ball...ever.

It ain't easy to have a secondary look good week and week out in this league anymore.

Fair, watch the dline on the 76yd TD (that's called holding). The game was sloppy from the moment hill got murdered across the middle. This secondary can still be competitive, ask Brady, Freeman and Manual.

It's one ugly game.. Moving on.

We gave away the best DB in the game to draft Dee Milliner and save cap space.

    Hooray.

Milliner is exactly what we paid for: a talented rook who is always injured.

How about Geno is throwing INTs EVERY FUCKING GAME?

Sanchez even in his rookie season didn't pull that feat off.

I really didnt follow Milliner and his injury past when he was drafted only knowing he was hurt and mending late for preseason.

Thats not our job..thats the front office job..and if this is a pattern...awful pick.

Im interested to see the rest of the season if this is a trend because it sure as hell seems like it. Such a high draft pick to pick someone who had this kind of past and seems to be following script.

nah he developed that talent over time...

the secondary is just okay. I can see parting ways with wilson who's at the end of his contract, Miliner is gonna need some time to come into his own, walls too(wanna see him replace Wilson on shorter slot guys) and Cro to my recollection had a decent outing save for slipping on the wet turf(its gonna happen sometimes not much playing ability can do with that) and tripping over the ref.

blowing it up will solve nothing, and the sum of the parts present isn't elite but sits in a good enough place for the future. not saying they can't pursue something better for a reasonable amount if it comes or anything but, we're all in post loss panic mode.

To be fair, the D did play pretty well up until that colossal TD bomb from Fitz. They had let up 220 yds of total offense before that which is pretty darn good.

They can't get a turnover though, ever. It's hard to play when you can only stop them and not make plays to GET the ball. And when your secondary other than Cro (who was getting torched left and right by V-Jax Week 1 himself) stinks.

Yes this loss was on Geno but you can only do so much forcing maybe two turnovers a month.

I think its more about the safeties, then the corners but again Rex uses the SS a lot on blitz and never too deep on coverage " not mocking rex " just saying the FS needs to be a stud to keep up with that strategy.

I keep hearing about Cromartie's hip injury that he claims is making him play like shit.

How many times have they listed him on the injury report?

Please stop. No CB is worth the money Revis is paid and he got burned for the tying TD by a one-legged Larry Fitzgerald. The Titans had everything go their way today. Every catch was made despite blanket coverage. Even the officials helped them score a TD by blocking Cromartie. It was just a bad game overall. Revis makes no difference in today's game if he is wearing green, except eating up 1/6th of the cap and hurting the team's ability to build at other more important positions.

I would much rather have a team that is developing a dominant front 7 and a pass rush than an overpaid CB who can cover only one of 11 offensive players. How is that Revis thing working out for the Bucs?????
