As bad as he's played today, that pass to Cumberland was beautiful. He is clearly much more accurate than Sanchez. It's been a long time since I've seen a jet qb hitting receivers in stride.

Being consistent, is part of being a NFL QB, thank god we didn't make a serious play for manning.

I don't think we have any patience for turnover prone QBs any more after the last few years

all I want is a half decent Vet QB that has some sense of ball security - he doesn't need to be great, he barely even needs to be good, he just needs to not hand the ball over 4 times a game.

Being consistent usually doesn't happen for rookie QBs in the NFL.

This is not a "dud" game.

This is pretty bad, but anyone making judgments on a rookie in his 4th game is premature.

a lot of work to do to polish this kid. But I see some positives for the future. The turnovers are unbelieveable though.

It was a bad day. The refs helped kill this game early.

At the end of the day this "win" was costly for Tenn.

    ...moving on.

Yeah there are things you like about the kid but the turnovers are sickly. They are just not misreads...they are horrendous decisions.

I complimented him after last game and quite honestly...anyone knows how this is going to play out is full of it. If you want to place your hat on the turnovers as your final verdict...I guess its hard to argue with right now.

I truly have no idea. I cant believe how bad the offensive line can look at times..and how good it can look at other times.

I have no idea about anything with this team...other than the fact the secondary sucks..thats the only thing Im sure of.

Definitely a hold. Dline is getting held all day. So many first downs called back; granted some were warranted, but it wasn't going both ways.

Mike Mucock, coach of the titans have a herp on his lip?

Geno had a rookie like game.. Not every rookie is going to come in and dominate like Wilson or RG3.

all I want is someone that doesn't give the ball to the other team 3 or 4 times a game - wasn't that the whole point of moving on from Sanchez?

If you want a long term fixture at QB, you're going to have to endure some growing pains. Especially with an inconsistent O-Line.

If Geno still looks like this by the end of the season then it would be a problem.

Yes but Sanchez did it in four years straight. Smith has been playing for 3 games. If Smith is still a turnover machine by mid-season, you can start to worry a bit, but not even at that point should you worry if he's still showing promise.
