It really really sucks. What makes it even worse is that the work of the front 7 should make life easier for them..but they suck. Two touchdowns while sitting there lining up the ball..and not even getting beat.
If you think they were bad today, I wonder what people are going to say after they have to face Julio Jones and Roddy White next week.
I mean even when they had plays lined up they still allowed catches. Wilson...Walls...the safeties are never in a play to break up a pass. Again, with the play of the front 7 you would think they would look better...but they are horrible.

A lot of blame on Geno. Yes, terrible day; but penalties are killing us. This should have been a different game, several drives stalled by penalties.

Yeah but that goes a lot deeper. He had an INT for the Bucs today and look where they stand in the standings. When you have a solid front 7, you can get away with a good group back there not even a great group back there. I would be a hypocrite if I said we needed Revis last year. Here is a perfect example, were there many times last year where you thought the same thing? They played very well last year. What I would like to know is how much money did we save by switching out our safetys. How much money did we save. If the kids had stepped in and played just well, it would have been good enough at CB. This group is horrible. Wilson sucks...Walls sucks.
Secondary is in the middle among the league. Who are theses teams with great tandem corners, and safeties? This is a competetive rebuilding year and this secondary should be able to compete with any other secondary in the league.

lol exactly.....a guy who was constantly injured throughout his career, playing for a coach who puts more disappointments in the league than anyone. and they draft this guy in a FRANCHISE CHANGING draft. Then they draft a DT who plays the exact same position as two OTHER DTs they JUST DRAFTED! Secondary was awful today against a team who isn't that good at passing. Alarming game. Where gonna get murdered next week by the Falcons.
The one where we gave up 4 passing TDs including a 76 yarder, and a back breaking TD on the last play of the half that basically put the game away. Great job defending the pass. And btw ... How many times were we backed up inside our 10 because the defense allowed a conversion on 3rd and long? Too many.
The secondary is probably the worst part of this D but they can still hold there own . Bad game today but they have been better in the other games . With so many first and second year players its going to be a work in progress the whole year . Its the turnovers not the D that lost us this game.
