(those in glass houses) With even more evidence with another Qb struggling under Schotty and according to reports regressing you give it no Merritt.

I'm torn regarding Sanchez, quite frankly. I actually like the kid a lot, last year performance aside, I consider him a class act who deserved better (leadership and coaching wise not salary wise) Unfortunately we might never know if under the right OC and QB coach he could have overcome his short falls and become a proven NFL winner. In my view, he was to a sizeable extent a victim of poor coaching, inept game planning for his strengths, and plain ugly leadership changes going from shitty (Brian Shotty) to shittier ( Sparano). For a young man with very limited College exposure, raw and immature, it was a disadvantage that very few QBs could have overcome. I'm wondering however, what the future holds for him and what the Jets brass near term plans are. Is he getting healthy enough to throw the football? are they actively shopping Sanchez? Is that why he is not in IR? Do they want him as a back up to Geno? I hope Sanchez gets another shot, with a team that will help him bring out the best not the worst. Time to move on. I wish Geno the very, very best. He is showing promise, but its way to early to get our dreams up again. I hope the leadership and coaching staff do not lead him through the same rabbit hole as Sanchez. I also expect the media and the fans to understand what we have and be patient during the development phase, accepting his rookie mistakes. For sure I'm not looking forward to yet another QB search and development if we can avoid it.
