SB Nation's 2013 Mock Draft had Glennon going at No. 39 overall to the New York Jets. Glennon instead fell to No. 73, drafted in the third round by the Schiano and the Buccaneers. As everyone knows I wanted Glennon and we could of even had him in the 3rd round, but the Jets went for the splash pick instead. With throwing a 53% completion rating and 3TDs to 6 INTs, Smith is being far from stellar and even if he had been just below just average we would have beat the Patriots. Hell if he can win this week I'll even lay off the kid. So now come the comparioson for the rest of the season. Glennon is on a worst team and had very few 1st team reps coming in much more raw than Smith, so he will be a clear measuring stick as to whether Smith is a decent rookie QB. We already know he is no where close to the rookies from last year, but can he be as good as the other rookies in his own draft. Last week he proved as good as Manual, but then that was far from great. Like I said, if Smith plays just decent this week and we win, I'll back off and even change my Avatar. Yet, right now Geno is on pace to have a worse turn-over year than Sanchez ever had.
Is this supposed to entice us into thinking your high and mighty because you are going to change your avatar? Unfortunately for you the screen name "JetsFan" is already embedded into our memory as a "BUST"
Leave that avatar right where it is. You said it, you meant it, you wear it. Let it represent a reminder to the board of where you stand/stood at one point.
How about leaving this board all together? Because I doubt anyone really wants you here or takes you seriously.
The Bucs have a worse record than the Jets, but have arguably more talent on offense, so if Glennon fails it will only further validate what everybody knows, that being that you know nothing.
Your post lost credibility when you said this bullshit. WTF did Geno sleep with your sister or something?
Also, since when were things proven after one game? (As indicated by your title) Oh right, you're the dude that labels our QB a bust even before he stepped on the field. Guess one game is more than enough for you.
Anyone notice how often this guy posts after the Jets lose, but how he backs off and hides in the little cave he lives in after the Jets win?
As everyone (make that probably no one recalls) I didn't want Glennon and am so glad they didn't draft that pencil-necked, red-headed geek. JetsFan, maybe Geno isn't the "spash" pick and instead maybe the Jets saw Smith as a QB with more upside than Gannon who sucked big time in the Music City Bowl (against Vandy and Aaron Roger's little brother) as well as in the Senior Bowl (Geno's Pinstripe Bowl woes in the snow notwithstanding). Imho, Glennon is a gawk who's overrated in the "big arm" department, with near-zero mobility and prone to throwing picks. I'll bet my hat Glennon ends up a career clipboard holder at best.
No one on this message board gives a shit what your opinion is. Geno will shit all over Glennon. It wont even be close. If you think Geno wasnt NFL ready, good luck with Glennon.
That's pretty funny, all we did was draft a pencil necked black geek who has shown a propensity for throwing interceptions and when he has run has been injured by no fault except his own. :/
Everyone? I doubt anyone remembers who you wanted. Your opinion ranks lower on this forum than Hobbes.
