No I just mean that in the story I would be lost. I've never cared much for the story anyway though. I've just always loved doing my own thing. All I meant by it was that if I decided to do the story, I would be confused because I know nothing about the characters...

Or is this a whole new story?

edit: Just read it is a new story? I'm not a fan of paying $60 ever for any game, but I'm starting to really consider this one. I wish there was a demo.

Seems there's been quite a few GTA IV references in this game.

I like how they let you use Patrick Mcreary for that heist.

I wish they would do a reboot of Vice City, it would look amazing.

Relieved to see Micheal's character enter the game...Franklin is good and his friend is one funny fucker. I agree, great stuff so far...Its alot like Red Dead to me in terms of gameplay

Picked this up and enjoying it so far. Just about to get the third character (Trevor?). Not sure what I like more: the missions, the random driving around and discovering things, or maybe doing some golf, biking, yoga , etc.

Before I begin. Rumor has it that its 32 players instead of 16 players. Hackers hacked the game files/code and discovered max players at 32. No official word from R*.

Does it state if it opens like Midnight October 1 or noon or something? Just wondering be I may *cough cough* start to come down with a little something *cough cough* around about then.

As a side note, I'm working my way through the game a bit now and definitely loving it. Did my first heist. Don't want to post any spoilers although most of you are probably way ahead of me.

Tried a bit more of the side stuff as well. Played some tennis, golf, messed around at the shooting range, flew a couple of planes and the blimp around town a bit. Met Trevor.

My one gripe is the cops, who sometimes have the power to respond to an incident in the middle of nowhere in a matter of 30 seconds.

I've popped a guy in the middle of the desert with a silenced pistol only to have 4 squad cars on me immediately. No witnesses either. Hopefully they fix that.

It's pretty good, yeah. I enjoy it. I don't think it's the best game of all time but it is very well made and thoroughly enjoyable. It eats your time up for sure.

Can't deny that it's a fun game but mostly geared towards casual players unfortunatly. Still worth buying though.

I thought there would be a lot more info about the online stuff as I think it starts tomorrow but I haven't heard much. I heard there are some micro transactions but I think it's just to buy game world money and not necessarily upgrades (although I guess you can buy better guns, cars, etc. with the money).

I will probably wait a day or two until I check it out but if anyone plays any of the online stuff make sure to post here to describe what it is like.

Yeah and make sure you check out online gameplay videos on youtube to help you decide...I love the game's expansive world. Once I beat it I want to just roam around doing nothing but stupid crap

It's good, takes a while to make cash though since the stock market isn't up yet.
