Wow, you showed me. That was an AWFUL pass to Braylon--Geno's was like a millions times better. Haters gonna hate. Hey, and I LIKE Geno, I just don't hate Sanchez like the most of the posters here. Come to think of it, I don't hate any Jets past or present--other than Tebow. _
Oh I called Sanchez's throw awful? Making up pretty crappy assumptions aren't we? I thought Geno's throw was a little more impressive
So it was a "little" more impressive. So I guess Sanchez only dropped a bunch of perfect "nickels" back in 2009 and 2010, but never a perfect "dime". Got it. You win the internet  _
Yup let's celebrate one of Sanchez's many"nickel" drops! Speaking of currency and such, we are considering throws - nickels, dimes, etc - with Sanchez we are surely still well below the red mark :shit: I never thought Mark could make all the throws coming out of college and we had to surround him with play-makers all around, seems Geno is becoming THE play-maker himself - Mark makes that throw maybe 1 out of 16 games a year. Still don't see it as impressive as Geno's on 1 and 15. Got it.
this is just getting ridiculous. the man played some good football for the jets and brought us some good times. we have no idea what would have been this season, but we do know that geno is improving as the season moves on and will likely keep the starting job. mark is injured and likely will end up on a team with a shaky qb situation and a chance to resurrect his career. but he is most likely done on the jets. show some respect to a guy that has won more playoff games for the jets than any other qb in our history and let it go.
That's all I'm saying stevepokal, I'm excited for the future - Mark, I have tons of respect for and what he did for our franchise, but I'm ready to move on. I will always have respect for Mark and I wanted him to start this season as our starter. Geno took the reigns and is running away with it. That doesn't make me a hater - I was a Mark supporter and I hope he gets healthy and resurrects his career.
Who does that sound like though? The guy currently on IR -- makes mistake,s able to bounce back, have big 4th quarters when he has to.
I think one thing I remember most about Mark is after losing 45-3 against the Patriots, he put up ANOTHER stinker the next game against the Dolphins. Geno bounced back against the Bills. Mark had big 4th QTRs up until the Broncos game in 2011, since then he really hasn't been the same player. We have a young QB to build on, the CS can teach him the right things this time around. That's the difference, to develop a QB the right way - not the way we did with Mark.
is it just me or is jstokes very frustrating? the argument has gotten a bit absurd at this point. dimes and nickels, passes this and passes that. lets remember to keep the focus on how much sancho sucks.
It wasn't just Mark in the NE and Mia games and Mark bounced back plenty of times after bad games. 2009: bad at NO, good at Mia the next week bad vs. Buf, good at Oak bad at NE, good vs. Car 2010: bad vs. Bal, great vs. NE etc... mark had a 4th qtr comeback as recent as week 3 last year at Miami.
I think Stokes is entertaining and stays on topic for the most part. He definitely douches it up, but it's not something to be annoyed about. Is it me, or do you whine about people that you never actually form arguments against? Grow a sack already, alley.
If I recall mark led them down the field and gave the jets the lead in the Broncos game only to have the defense surrender a 95 yard drive to Tebow.
Mark wasn't the same player after that game, after getting murdered by Von Miller. You know it's true. He still threw the pick 6.
He's had more bad games following a bad game then a good game following a bad game if that made sense.
most are from 2012 though. 2009 bad games: NO, followed by good game at Mia Buf, followed good game at Oak NE, good game vs. Car Atl, good game at Indy 4 bad games, no bad games the following week(this was one of the reasons I was so encouraged by him as a rookie) 2010: Bal, great game vs. NE next week GB, good game at Det NE, bad game vs, Mia Miami, good game at Pitt 1 bad performances after a bad performance through 2 years 2011: at Bal, good game at NE next week at Den, good game vs. Buf next week at Mia- end of season 1 through 3 years 2012: SF, good vs. Hou next week at Sea, good at SL next week vs. NE, bad next week vs. Ari Ari, ok vs. jax next week at Ten, DNP next week at Buf- end of season only 2 in 4 years
