not only what jetblue said... when his TEAM wins a playoff game on the road..... that is a TEAM goal. it has absolutely shit for nothing to do with how the qb performs his job.
Buttfumble doesnt have the deep ball Geno has. Im not sure Assfumbler hits Tone or Hill for TDs today..... Genos deep throws are impressive.
The offense as a whole - starting the with OC - is light years ahead of last years offense. We would have probably beat the Pats last week with Nacho at the helm. He would have had a better year this year than last - probably equal to 2011 stats with less turnovers. Alas, arguing over it is a moot point as the Smith era is 3 games deep and our debates will never come to fruition. However, i stand by my initial statement about our offense being way better. If Geno starts this year with last year's NYJ offense and Sparano calling the shots, he would make Akili Smith look like Drew Brees.
I actually agree with this 100% I kind of wanted to see Mark play with Marty and let Geno sit and wait. But, it's over now can't go back and change it now its Genos time. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
this is all pure conjecture and bullshit. it has no basis in any kind of reality. the facts are that geno smith steps up into pressure and completes balls down the field. mark does not geno smith puts the ball on the correct shoulder dependent upon the situation mark does not geno smith throws the ball away or into the ground when there is nothing there mark does not geno smith has big play ability and can throw the deep ball mark does not these are all real things that can be seen, not some bullshit mark woulda horseshit you guys love to bring up.
I am certain Buttfumble would have a better year under Morningwood than last year. However, he cant stretch the field like Geno and he cant step up and take the hits like Geno has. We've seen Mark play scared, thats when he comes undone. Geno has much more zip and a quicker release imo.
Through 3 weeks I am happy w/ Geno, I don't like that he tends to start stronger and end weaker but hopefully those are just growing pains. I love this offensive system, I love the OC- that was our best move this offseason and it's nice to see Hill getting downfield and Holmes starting to get back to his old self.
Geno's also thrown 5 interceptions in two games. Holmes bailed him out on the deep throw last night. The defender easily could've made a play on that. He's the exact player as Sanchez with more speed. Geno has completed 53.9% of his passes with 3 touch downs and 6 interceptions. Stop acting like this guy is the Jets Messiah.
so in other words in 3 weeks in the nfl he improved as much as a 4 year old vet? and its faster at it?
No, I'm saying his numbers and inability to prevent turnovers are the exact same as Sanchez's his rookie year. Actually, they're worse than Sanchez's first 3 games.
He is different b/c he starts games strongs and ends weaker His TOs are different, where mark would fumble and throw to some DL he's throwing more INTs downfield I still feel w/ Mark in this O we'd be 3-0 but I am pleased w/ Geno so far.
I'm just saying people are jumping the gun on him when from my perspective, he's not the Jets savior yet.
I can't believe people are still bothering to defend Sanchez. Watch last years game against the Titans and tell me Sanchez DIDN'T lose that game for us. And then tell me Geno would have done worse.
Absolutely not. Clyde Gates and Steven Hill if we have to point any fingers. But please rewatch that Titans game.
Still a LONG way to go but he's showing positive signs. Imagine Geno w/ Sparano as OC, no Holmes, no 2nd year Hll(no Hill at all), starting Chaz Schilens w/ a weak OL. Let's be fair here, people don't understand how bad we were around the QB last year.
our run game and D in 2009 were top 3 in rankings only He only had Edwards for 12 games and no offseason/training camp
