4 of those guys played. some just left early. Williams, Carringtom, McKelvin, Darius, all are in the box score. They just were not much of a factor.

He went down with 1 minute plus left in the 4th. His injury helped save the clock for you.

I think the Bills have some work to do, but I think they look more talented and they seem to have more direction than I've seen in several years. They remind me of the Dolphins last year.

I'm okay with it. Just think, as the Jets start to dominate the division for the next two decades, the Bills and Fins can battle for second place and the Patsies can have the cellar all to themselves.....

--that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Final drive of the game, under 2 mins left in 4th quarter. Right before the punt down to the 1. He was there all game, but, whatever. Hope injury isn't serious; looked like a broken bone or something.

Yea that's him in the 4th being saved by the midget. That should be the mascot for the Bills Mafia as they seem to come up short always.

Right. Actually I saw in another thread it took away 20 seconds? Anyway, I guess it was Urbik at the start of the 3rd, not Carrington.

Our 3rd string safety is Jaiqwan Jarret he made some plays and even recovered a fumble that was overturned by the referee. Also 4 Jets CB played heavily in the game. So using that excuse won't fly.

For your other post on your injured players, only Gilmore and Byrd from my recollection were the ones that didn't play.

Also how did Geno look bad today? Accounted for 3 TD drives, including 2 starring down the barrel of a blitzing defender. Difference between the two QBs is Geno looked well under pressure, Manuel looked terrible. It's easy to not throw picks when you dink and dunk but unless your Tom Brady you won't consistently score that way.

And Yea let's compare the first two weeks of the QBs when Geno was playing on the road in the pouring rain on 3 days preparing when Manuel was playing at home in perfect conditions against Carolina. I'm not saying that Geno is going to be better but don't be a homer Geno played much better today and the better team won.

Seemed as if Nate Hacket wanted to continue to run the ball right in the middle when he had no chance. The Jets dline said no way.

    Classy.
What is New York about MetLife Stadium? Not sure how the win against the Bucs was any more deserving than the win by the Bills against the Panthers. And the Bills were actually beating the Pats for a significant part of their game - albeit the Bills were playing at home.

What is amusing is the supposition that all the penalties today are fixable, yet barely beating a team without it's starting safety, BOTH it's starting cornerbacks, one - and eventually two - of it's starting Defensive tackles, and the worst LG in the game and then lost the RG, means anything.

The Bills were a bad team today, and a shell of themselves. Geno came to play, and when the game was on his shoulders at the end, he delivered. But with all the players the Bills were missing today...wow. This game shouldn't have been as close as it was.

Both teams were UGLY. After watching the Dophins beat the Falcons, I'm thinking they are the class of the AFC-E. Such as it is.

Thanks for your post-game conversation...up standing.

Keep in mind the Jets were without their 2 most dynamic play makers on offense in WR Clyde Gates who was injured early when a pass hit him in the hands and our best RB, Mike Goodson, who's on a 4-game suspension for a loaded handgun, narcotics, and passing out drunk in the middle of the highway.

All I hear here is excuses. I can say the same things about the penalties, which are fixable. The one drive where they had a touchdown to tie it was extended by dumb personal foul penalties by Kyle Wilson. Also keep in mind that Manuel fumbled the ball and it wasn't called.

Bottom line is the Jets defense dominated the Bills offense and the Jets offense had 500 yards. Having 2 players is not going to change 500 yards of offense into a respectable 200 yards.

No doubt. Both sides of the Jets dominated a bad Bills team today. As I said - the penalties are fixable, but you can't say they are the reason it was close and discount the depleted defense of the Bills. Man, I wish people would actually read a post before responding.

Manuel definitely fumbled. Too bad questionable coach's challenges were called on clear dumb plays that didn't really matter anyway so they couldn't be used when it could have won the game. That is more concerning. Good thing Tone's fumble was reversed, leading to the TD for the Jets. But that is impossible, because the refs had it in for the Jets today and were biased. Fixed, even, because the NFL wants to see the Bills - the BUFFALO Bills - win and the NEW YORK CITY Jets lose. At least according to some on this board. P.S. We did land on the moon, and the earth is not flat.

I'll say it again - both teams sucked ass today. The only bright spot is Geno stepped up at the end instead of another 4th quarter collapses and maybe Tone's play as the game progressed.

Why can't Bills fans realize that the Bills were bad because of the Jets offense and defense? Apparently after last week the Bills were going to crush the Jets and EJ Manuel was god on earth. I love excuses.

To say the Jets sucked ass today makes you look like a moron. The defense dominated and the offense had over 500 yards. What more do you want?

And I never think sports are fixed but if one referree really wanted to he could try to call penalties regardless of what market it is based upon who he thinks wins the game. If he wanted to take the 2.5 points for the Bills he could have done that and fixed the game
Don't think that happened at all but your logic has a flaw in it.

No man, the Jets sucked ass. 500 yards? Yuck, horrible. 8 sacks? Boring.

    I love inbred Bills fans.

Who said anything differently? The Bills beat a team that just destroyed the Giants. Hopefully for the Jets the Bills are good and the Jets are just great.

I think both teams sucked ass today. Whether you blame it on ridiculous drive sustaining penalties, or ridiculous injuries to defense - it's still just ridiculous. The Jets played bad football. The Bills played worse football. Both teams need to improve a LOT if they're going to compete with Miami (God it hurts to say that) or the Patriots as we all know Brady is eventually going to get in synch with his receivers. Unless he dies. We can all hope.

Point made. The Bills sucked ass. I'd like to believe the Jets ability was the cause of that. However, to have 500 yards in offense and 8 sacks and have the game be as close as it was to me means there is some improvement that needs to be made. I don't think either the Dolphins or Patriots lose that game the way the Jets played today. So yes - both teams played poorly. I doubt the penalties continue to be a problem, but still need to work on turnovers.
