I just felt like Holmes deserved a thread. He made some big plays for us tonight over 150 rec yards , and the game winning TD. After coming off that bad injury Holmes has returned to form and it's nice to see a legit WR again

His receiving yards today was a career high. He's a playmaker, and we need him. Made some brilliant catches too. The one over the shoulder was really nice.

I hate Santonio as a person, but the guy was unstoppable today.

    Very impressive.

I'm sure his argument with Wayne Hunter in 2011 is still affecting the chemistry of the 2013 team. Also, he's soft under pressure.

This guy gets so much hate it's sickening but him healthy is a HUGE plus. He looked himself finally and looks like he trusts that foot again. Holmes/Hill/Kerley is great for Geno to have at his disposal.

Best complete game he has had as a Jet. He was there all game, its the types of games he used to have in Pittsburgh all the time. (Obviously this was his best)

He had a great game today and hopefully he can continue to build off of it. I like our starting 3, wish we had better than Gates as our 4th wr ....

Lets bring back all the cut him threads. His game today should be an example for those fans who immediately over react to everything. The guy has talent.

I've been saying for years now that he is the most under-appreciated player on the team.

Good game today Holmes. I hope Geno can continue to put balls in your hands so you can make the plays we all know you can.

(he he, he said balls in your hands /Buttheadvoice)

tone has talent, but he is still an asshole, atleast he is portrayed as one. i never did get why people wanted to cut him though, he is a very talented WR

You think they keep him after the season if he keeps playing like this?

We still need another receiver IMO. Holmes was amazing today he made clutch catches.

That's a very tough call. He is a very talented WR and also very clutch. Unfortunately he is not cheap. If Hill and Kerley develop Holmes could be expendable assuming they want to draft a WR. Very similar situation with David Harris.

Why take away a weapon from Geno? If anything we should keep Holmes, Kerley and Hill together and add another WR in the draft.

If they reduce his salary, why not? He's always been a solid receiver that can make clutch plays. Still think we would definitely need to draft a WR very high, but he is a good player in a shaky WR group.
