I have no idea why he shouldnt get fired after this game. Just leaving Wilson in and not tearing him a new asshole when he went off the field...not even going into the challenges. The worst head coaching job I have ever seen...ever. Win or lose this game.
It was a poorly coached game but Rex has at least 3 of these a season since he began here. No surprises here.
shut the fuck up? Grow the fuck up...then add execution to the list too...another coaches responsibility...friggin child.
Both challenges were horrible, but He did take Kyle Wilson out though. Also, on Bills previous drive where it was option of making it 4th and 14 or 3rd and 24 why would you not want 4th and 14?
Disagree. Refs called the game tightly, the Jets avoided penalties the first two games. The only thing I would kill Rex for is the challenges. We could have overturned the poor ref call if we had challenge. Besides that, ok coaching game. It wasn't terrible, it wasn't great.
Rex didn't have the best of games...however you are blind if you think this game was officiated fairly bohanon had the first down. Refs decided to give Buffalo the call, as they have all game
The first challenge was not bad at the time. It ended up being bad because he could have used it later on. But at the time, I think Rex thought, we were going to call a TO anyway, so why not just challenge it?
You wanna know why? Because the defense won the game. And if it isn't for Rex, there isn't a defense. Challenges were dumb, but there is usually someone up top telling you to challenge the play. First challenge I did not understand one bit, second one it was because at first glance it looked like he was out of bounds, and since it was the hurry up, you gotta make a quick decision.
It was magnified when the Refs screwed up that fumble. If we had the challenge it gets overturned, if the refs do the job right, we win easily. Im not complaining, we win, they lose. 2-1, better than the Packers, 49ers, Falcons, Steelers. Nuff said.
There is so much more than the challenges...you are winning the game and dominating on defense and your offense is running plays in the 3rd and 4th quarter with 10 or 15 seconds on the play clock. Its the typical problem of an HC who is now completely running the defense and is not acting like an HC. Listen...again...I love the guy. I really do. He needs to get his head straight on his game responsibilities pretty quick because this team is much better than everyone thought...including those defending him. He has a chance to save himself and he better get his mind on the total game...quickly.
You wouldnt kill him for not putting Cromartie on Johnson? You wouldnt kill him for keeping Kyle Wilson in the game when he was trying his best to lose the game for us?
Rex made some bad decisions but how stupid do you have to be to think that Rex should yell at Wilson as he comes off the field. What does that help? You just wanted to see that to make yourself feel better. The challenges was terrible but the playcalling tonight was very good.
