Oh let me add Cassel with Bowe, and Jamaal Charles? The QB has to have some level if talent himself.

if you paid attention you would know the answer but you are more concerned w/ snarky responses than actually engaging in a serious football discussion.

who said all bad QBs need weapons? all QBs do need weapons but gabber has never proven a thing, mark has. Same w/ Skelton, Fitz, etc...

Did you see how Brady looked w/ '12 Jet like weapons? have you noticed what Flacco looks like this year w/ mediocre weapons(still much better than NYJ '12)?

The point is that Sanchez has never proven himself to be a good QB. Now Brady is a guy that you can say that all he needs are weapons. Even when Sanchez had decent talent he was average AT BEST.

i cant wait till mark gets somewhere with weapons so he can get back up to 56 percent completion percentage and 9 fumbles and 13 ints.

man oh man i cant wait for THAT fucking sweetness.

Tom Lady proved Thursday even the elite need Wrs.

Last year Sanchez was throwing to practice squad 3rd stringers at best behind a two second pass protection.

Geno same problem . Now we have solid pass protection but he holds the ball too long because Wrs cant get separation. That explains McElroy record breaking 11 sacks last year. Dee Milliner what a wasted pick when we could have got a WR.

Sure he has, you don't get to back to back title games w/ zero home games if your QB isn't pretty good.

Smith has opportunities for passes against the Pats - had Hill open up the middle for a TD, had slants available. He doesn't have a quick trigger and he doesn't see to read routes well. He has to wait and see on his passes which is a problem.

I can buy that argument for good QB's. Even if we had good players Sanchez would still suck. Now I do believe that the Jets did Sanchez a disservice by not putting better talent around Sanchez but that doesn't excuse his shitty play.

Corners tend to struggle at first but IMO Milliner will be fine with more time.

Whereas you act like a healthy Mark Sanchez can still play.

If Sancho ever had one game like this, your fucking head would explode.

Sanchez had 32TDs in 2011...17 INTs....with Holmes/Kerley/Burress as his receivers

you don't need elite - you need solid dependable receivers

25 total turnovers that season from Mark. He's always had ability he just turns the ball over too much at inopportune times.

The TEAM was good and they masked a lot of his short comings. Every few years you have an anomaly but having guys like Sanchez at the helm is not a sustainable formula for success, that's why we're rebuilding again.

he fumbled too much, but that offensive line didn't do him a lot of favors. The Baltimore game he was nearly killed.

Put him behind the offensive line on the field this season with this offense and I think he would have had a very nice season.

ahhh throwing out blind #s again. if you ever understood this game your head would explode.

The team was good NOT great. Much better teams w/ supposed much better QBs haven't had the runs we had.

You do if all you ask your QB to do is Not turn the ball over and let the defense and running game carry the load.

It's probably close to impossible to have the No. 1 rushing attack and the No. D in every category and not make the SB. Sanchez accomplished that in 2009.
That was as an elite a team that the Jets have every fielded with one exception.

The hate is amazing the facts start to prove the Sanchez haters wrong but they have to much invested to back down.

Qbs need a good coach and weapons to be successful. It does not matter if you are a hall of famer or Mark Sanchez.

Year one he played like a rookie but well coming down the stretch and and lead us to an AFCC although was more along for the ride during the season.

Year two was instrumental in all eleven wins he started in and played well enough to win one more.

Year three took away two good weapons replaced them with Mason and Plax. Year four was throwing to guys off the street.

Year 5 hurt that is all there is only four seasons guys not 10. What is for certain Mark never reached his potential maybe this year he had a better chance with a good OC and decent weapons.

but that isn't what we did. he was asked to make plays which he did in every playoff game.

Being a Giant fan you probably didn't watch the 2009 team but anyone that did that knows anything about this game understand we were #1 in rankings only. We had a good rush O, we had a good to very good at times D. we weren't elite in any area.

That 2009 defense gave up 14.8 points per game only allowing a little over 150 passing yards per game. How can you say it wasn't elite?

That's awesome, they also blew 3 last minute leads and a double digit lead in the title game. That's not elite.
