dude is ridiculously fast and can always break free deep but ANY contact and he ALMOST ALWAYS will drop it. He is a track star TRYING to play receiver.
I'm so pissed at Idzik right now, How did he let this shit happen, we coulda signed some midlevel wr's in April when they were available
Gates "followed" offensive genius Tony Sporano to the jets from the Dolphins last year. That should have told Idzik something. The only person who is a worse evaluator of talent than Rex Ryan is Mike ("yeah, let's guarantee Sanchez another $20M") Tannyidiot.
What makes you think you know shit about who makes decisions on talent for this team? Sent from my HTCEVODesign4G using Tapatalk 2
LOL! So I was wrong to blame the Sanchez $20M extension on Mike T. and Rex Ryan? Okay, you can respond and enlighten us on who should get credit for that if those two had nothing to do with it.
Hm. The Steelers' offense looked less than stellar with Cotchery in it last week. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk 4
the icing on the gates cake is the ridiculous look-at-me hair...dude...try to blend-in. learn to catch before you beg for attention. that said, i think he has some skills. i wouldn't write-off this guy just yet. let's re-evaluate around mid-season.
I dont blame Clyde Gates at all for his drop. I blame the people who are putting him out on the field. He isnt a quality NFL Receiver, he should not be starting.
Yeah he does. I'm not fan of Braylon, but I cannot comprehend keeping Gates over him. It's like his hands sweat butter. He really is bad.
miachel irvin said that on post game on nfl network , " can the jets cut clyde gates after tonight? " xd
Gates was put in a position he had no business being in in the first place. He's a 4th/5th receiver that you throw to no more than 3 or 4 times a game. I like Gates in the afforementioned role and that's it. Hopefully Kerley is good to go next week.
