You're missing the point. 14-0 does not in any form or fashion means the game was out of reach at that point of the game.
you do realize he is indirectly quoting a juncism? YOU said that, he is simply once again making light of the absurdity YOU said. would you like to retract that comment? if you do i am sure he wont ever bring it up again. bottom line is he IS a good poster. he remembers some of the bs you spew, and every now and again he reminds us all of the fun absurdity you have said in the past. i dont think anyone is looking for your approval of us as good posters.

that game was already getting out of hand b/c of some poor defense, the next play after the buttfumble NE scored again. We weren't winning that game w/o the buttfumble.

Actually, Brees was being discussed to go to the CFL in the San Diego papers at that time. They did not even think he was a backup for Philip Rivers when Rivers was drafted. THAT'S how bad he was. And he had an in-his-prime LT !!!
In SD Brees had a good completion percentage a good TD to INT ratio and was miles better than Sanchez in years 3 of 4 of his starting. Granted Sanchez started his first year and Brees didn't start till his second year but Brees left SD showing he was accurate and not a turnover machine. Sanchez is going out in FA with neither of those accomplishments.
I don't wanna hear the naysayer's talk about "Sanchez would have won yesterday's game" cause he would have fumbled at least 2-3 times and threw a bunch of picks. Brady was having a little trouble throwing the damn ball all night.
Nobody cares about that. When GM's are looking at acquiring/paying a player, they consider three things --- Can the guy play the position productively for us? Can he be an upgrade over what we currently have on our roster? How will it effect our overall payroll? If teams are thinking about signing Mark next season the answers will be ... there's a chance he can be serviceable, maybe, and he can be gotten cheap. If he latches on with anyone, his most likely role will be veteran backup, or placeholder.
he will get signed w/o a doubt. No one will hand him the keys but he'll eventually get a chance to play again and can try to resurrect his career at that point.
It would be good to get rid of all the posts saying the Jets would have won if Sanchez were there. Likewise it would be just as good to get rid of the posts where people know that he would have had multiple fumbles and three INT. The fact is that nobody knows that what Sanchez would have done these last two games. You can speculate all you want, but your position is no more valid than anyone else's.
