If these two are out for any extended period of time our defense is in big trouble. They have both been playing lights out before they left with injuries tonight. Despite a tough loss, our defense still played at a very high level. If our offense can catch up as the season goes along, we can win some games, but not if these two are out for awhile.

Any updates on their injuries? Hopefully nothing serious.

I really hope Wilkerson's is not serious. Shelden too...Man this season already looking poor.

We need help on offense asap, but without our defense we near the top of the worst teams

Of course we will get bad news on both since we're the jets and god hates us

The whole front seven is just awesome. Can't wait to see what happens when they add Coples in the mix.

We've been waiting for our offense to catch up with our defense since 2008.

Well hey some of you wanted Sanchez out, not only did the QB play not improve but now we might get an injury we don't want too.

As bad as the Patriot's offense looked, I didn't see much penetration from our defensive line. We hurried Brady a few times, but we only sacked him once or twice if I remember correctly. Without these two it will get so much worse, though.

There won't be anything said in stone for awhile, but Wilk is the bigger concern clearly. Hopefully the 10 days will be enough rest.

At this point, I would rather they be out for the season. This season's a lost cause with this bad of an offense.

    Lose for a high pick.

Wilkerson got carted off I heard.

Wilkerson and Richardson could miss time due to injury.
Colon and Ferguson may get a 1 game suspension for hitting a ref.
There's no exact word on whether or not Coples and Kerley will be back for week 3.
And on top of it all we lost to a very vulnerable Pats team.
    What a night.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were faking it just to slow things down.

Sunday, Thursday games are the dumbest thing the NFL has come up with to date.

    Good job protecting players.

Muhammad Wilkerson just walked out of the Jets locker room. No limp. No tape on ankle.

Good signs. Hopefully is all ok.

    Which is it?

Cannot afford to lose these two for ANY period of time.

yes this is how it happens. first we lose a game, to a vulnerable division rival, by embarrassing ourselves, and then we get our best players struck down by injuries. Of course. Nobody in sports history has had worse luck than the jets.

Mo Wilkerson walks out of locker room with heavy ice wraps on ankle. Rex not sure if high-ankle sprain. #Jets
