Since you guys don't have a game on Sunday, I put this in the NFL forum ... is anyone else a fan of Ian Eagle, I'm not. http://506sports.com
Miami and the Colts. That should be a decent game. Redskins and packers should be decent... While I do focus on these games, I've become one of those people who spends most of my time on RedZone channel when my teams aren't playing.
I think we have a good chance to win ... last year was a great game and we had the lead but couldn't finish them off. Tannehill threw for nearly 300 and Luck shredded us for 433. I'd like to think our secondary is better with Grimes. I was very excited with the attacking defense we had Sunday, but I don't anticipate being successful by blitzing Luck. We had Luck wrapped up for potentially 7 sacks, but he broke free 6 times and we only cashed in on 1. We will see ... We need this win seeing as how we have the Falcons, Saints, Ravens coming up afterwards.
I get the joy of witnessing the battle royale of JAX @ Oak...... Doesn't look like Tampa's getting a financial return on their Revis investment
that city seems to be a weird place for sports (TB). like...i have never actually met a bucs fan. are they only found in that area?
Always weird shit with the distribution......like why Philly and South Jersey get the Saints/Bucs game? How about how the state of Oklahoma who I'm sure have a real rooting interest get Cleveland and Baltimore.
I went to a Bucs game once (vs the Eagles 2006) ...... The crowd was pretty into then. I had fun. It was interesting being a football game with no real rooting interest.. and a bad hangover* * We took my buddy to Tampa for his Bachelor Party (he's a huge Philly fan) Total surprise (he thought we were going to play golf (which I don't even do) then we kept cruising down 95..... to I4. (we stuffed his Westbrook jersey and a change of clothes in his golfbag) We visited Tampa's finest establishments all night, then scalped tix for the game the next morning...... it was fun. You would've been proud Satan.....
So since Phillu plays at 1, no game can go opposite that, so FOX in philly can't show a game against the Philly game on CBS. Because of this, FOX is still allowed to show a game in the area so they show Saints vs Bucs over Lions vs ARZ which I think is accurate. Brees/Saints bring in ratings. If they could show a game aginast Philly they probably rather would than against DEN/NYG
