Thank you Mark Sanchez for everything you have done for us and whether you've played your last down here or not, your appreciated. Say what you want about the guy but he gave us Jets fans hope when he started his career and made us more relavent in the playoffs. Mark in his first 2 years, helped us match the same amount of afc championship games that we've been in throughout our whole history. He helped prove that we did have a good team, worthy to make it far in the playoff, even with a "game manger" at qb. Mark helped remind us of how it felt to be knocking at the door of the superbowl. Of course he's been responsible for some bad seasons in NY but with those 2 afc championship games, he did for us in those first 2 years what it took decades, upon decades for the Jets and their numerous qb's to do. There is a "Mark Sanchez Sucks" thread already, so please refer any negative comments about him to that thread, and leave this one for the Jets fans who appreciated what he helped bring to us.

Everyone clowns him for the errors hes had these last 2 seasons but he played a big role in helping us get into those AFCC Games and created a lot of great memories like beating the Pats at home during the playoffs after that embarrassment on MNF weeks before.

Would always appreciate his toughness and willingness to lead and learn.

    "Sanchize."

He's left me some great and some terrible memories in equal measure. Can't say I'm sad to see him (most likely) gone but I also appreciate the couple of very exciting seasons he gave us.

I was at that game, best win since SB III. It seems like 20 years ago already.

Good luck to Mark, thank you for all you did for our franchise.

Mark's last 2 years weren't great. But he was a Jet and a Jet at the QB position during 2 of the best years this franchise has ever seen. Thanks for everything Mark. Good luck in Arizona next year.

Honestly the Chargers playoff game was probably most surprising. I know the Pats scorched us 45-3 before our win against them, but I don't think anyone at all expected us to beat a 14-2 Chargers with a rookie Qb and coach. That win gave me so much hope.

I thought I hated him but apparently I was a little harsh. His Jets life seems over. Can't say I will miss him but I wish him success rest of his career.

Thanks for everything mark. He helped make NYC a jets town for a little while, and almost delivered us the coveted VLT.

No doubt in my mind he will compete for a starting job somewhere else. Such a shame it had to end this way though.

Best of luck Mark, Thanks a lot for the first two years. I was so excited to be wearing Green and white late into January with us still being in the hunt. He will find a home next year but it wont be with us.

It's disappointing to know this is how the Sanchize ends.
From the beginning I gave him nothing but support and even when we signed him with that extension I placed all my faith in him.

He's given us some memories of success that a lot of the time is overlooked for the mistakes that were made. He'll always have that victory over Brady in the playoffs.

For the last time, thanks for your time with the Jets Mark.

It's a sad day for our franchise. Not because Sanchez was anything special - It's more because we are starting over again. 4 years ago, we were looking forward to a more polished and precise QB at the helm, one who could win games on his own, and lead us into more deep runs into the playoffs. Unfortunately, we are right back where we started.

Thanks for all the false hope and hoo-dooing us into believing in your abilities while our #1 ranked defence and #1 ranked rushing attack dwindled away.

Thanks for setting back the organization 4 years in hopes that you could one day be as good as Joey Harrington.

This is what scares me the most. I don't want the front office to do like they did with Mark, by letting him do just enough to get by and decide to move forward with him year in year out. That is why I still believe in my signature...

Bandwagoners from two AFCC apperances, Tebow, and Mike Tannenbaum is why we have the worst fan base ever.
