I was looking forward to one more year of cheering for him to prove everybody wrong. A lot of people will say good riddance, but I will always look back on the Sanchez years fondly, even if many of those memories are of truly awful football.
"Hey Doc...will I be able to play quarterback after the surgery?" "Of course you will, son." "Hmmm, that's weird. I couldn't before..."
Tbh, this will eventually become Mark's lifeline. This injury is what will make him find another team who'll take a chance on him once he's recovered. Thanks for the good times, Mark.
the fucked up thing is the last few things we remember about Sanchez are Titans season ending fumble The injury The pick 6 The headband and of course the butt fumble its been a long ride
Sucks for Mark, as I think he's a good guy...But just a very very mediocre QB now. Oh but yeah, the dude got paid. No real sympathies here. Would not be shocked if he is out west next season closer to home...Like Oakland or even Jacksonville.
And now he can sit back and be a backup collecting 1million plus for the next 10 yrs...ooh grievous day.
So he will become a good QB again? lol He will go to the backup QB circuit and then leave the league...
As much as I don't think Sanchez is a starting caliber QB in the NFL I wouldn't wish that injury on anyone. I have nothing against Sanchez the man.
Not that I thought he gave us a real chance to win but I do feel bad for him. I would have liked to see him in the new system we have to see if he was at least salvagable.
