It's far too soon to be having revisionist history. Number one Geno was running for his life all day outside of one or two times that he had a clean pocket. We've seen how Sanchez has looked under those circumstances see the 2011 Ravens game. So how much longer must we stick with Sanchez in hopes of him becoming what you think is your idea of good QBing?
We won in 09 and 10 with Sanchez and in the long run that got us nowhere. I'd love to win but I also want to see Geno PROGRESS and get better as an individual player.
He was not running for his life, we had very good pass pro most of the game. The TB D didn't look anything like the 2011 Raven D that night. All I wanted for Mark was to have a chance this year, he had it then got hurt. I am rooting for Geno. How is Sanchez a diva? he's been one of the toughest QBs in the league. The guy never complains, always takes the blame. I don't get the hatred of him off the field.

We didn't win the SB, we didn't even win the division. And 3/4 years later we're rebuilding again. So like I said in the long term those early wins with Sanchez accomplished nothing.

Good QBs overcome bad coaching? No, they dont. System matters. Steve young didnt light it up in TB.. Neither did Testaverde. Neither did Gannon in Minn. Like I said. Put me and Jeff Gordon at indy. Not bashing Geno but as I've said before... I want to see Sanchez w/MM. He needs a fair shot because he has shown in the past to pull off a few comebacks also. So anyone thinking otherwise just has it out for him. Imagine that was Sanchez who fumbled inside the 5 and then threw a high pick to a RB who didn't turn around? Sooo Eerily similar though!

Intersting take. i saw a different QB in the preseason, minus one poor int, And Junc..its impossible to defend both Schotty and Sanchez, That Coryell base crap has no place in the NFzl.
sanchez returns, Geno isnt that good yet. And its not close. The only thing that keeps Geno on the field, is what Dr.Andrews says.
