If the defense is successful at getting pressure up the middle and hold the running game like they did to the Bucs and Geno doesn't have a melt down there is no reason why the Jets don't win this one. No. The Patriot defense has a HOFer on the other side of the ball to win high scoring games. That's the only advantage that they have over Tampa's defense.
Bad news for the Patriots about Vereen since he was one of 3 players (Other then Brady) on the offensive side who had a clue yesterday. This certainly seems like a great opportunity for the Jets to win a game in Foxboro. So based on past performance with these type of games I would say the Patriots will win by about.... 30 points.

That was the first game in about 3 years now that I have no sat there and been pissed off towards the end of the game that they were gonna blow the game and lose. Agree with this gotta know that this is a process not a finished product.

Vereen is going to be out for a few weeks after breaking a bone and Gronk probably won't play. This could be a great chance to steal one if we can get constant pressure and keep the chains moving on offense. I also think that the running game will get better this week as the Bucs do have a very tough rush defense.

That sucks. I think Jeri Kerl is a possible X factor. Thankfully, they have a week to work Spicoli into the lineup. For all of the crying we have have about the receiving corps, we do have depth.
